"Spor - knock you down" is a pretty cool track. and some noisia is ok. but allot of it is the same.
but why do they call it neurofunk? I'm not hearing any funk.

I think its kinda funky. The beat is often a bit off or bouncy like in garage or techno or house . I don't know what you call it cause im no musician but regular dnb beats are more straight .
Maybe someone else can explane it with better words.
I have no idea how the word neurofunk came about. Its a pretty good name tho imho.

it so funky that its twisting the brain? Neurofunk also contain more electro elements than standard drum and bass.

I used to be into neurofunk back when dnb was good, but I rarely listen to any new stuff now. dnb seemed to get worse over time, with a few odd exceptions.
As a genre, it needs to die for a decade at least, then come back with some decent new people and ideas.
I wish they hadn't gone away from the really dark stuff like torque and early dom n roland stuff. Its all a bit to jovial for my liking now.
Also everything sounds way too clean and polished, even the distortion on the synths sounds clean. These guys need to grunge the sound up a bit.

i saw black sun empire a few months back... not related to neurofunk or whatever, but theyre friends on that nphect page... i thought they were alright, except they had an mc blabbing complete bollocks over every single one of their tracks. absolute arse. dnb should not have an mc, especially if you cant hear what he's saying and you cant hear the music over them.

  bloody mc cockends

im not all keen though, it all sounds very.. samey
