I went to ATP sat. night and it was pretty cool. I only stuck around to see the boredoms, merzbow, and the twin. HOLY SHIT MERZBOW is awsome.. it was SO LOUD my ears are still ringing, and aphex put on a dope ass show. he had little midget girls dancing on stage and a guy with a mask on while he laid down and played a great mix of his music with interesting twists. ahhh what an experience |

noise artists are only really meant to be experienced live. its got a certain "i have to look at the car accident" aspect about it. the boredoms are cool live. never seen aphex. i might want to keep it in my head. |

FUCKING RULED...ALL TWO hours or so....well it seemed like 2 hours, I was SO DOSED, but i think he went on for a good 1.5 hours.... Narkotic: Sorry I could not get to ya or meet up, we were REALLY running late and kinda got lost near UCLA trying to park..... Richard KICKED everyone else's ASS on that lineup... Lsd + Richard(live) + a free ride home = good weekend....... =) |

i fly there EVERY week......and i know, i know i shoulda went.....i'm kicking myself right now. i have a business meeting in LA tue/wed....ick....ehhehe so i'll be there soon enough. i just didn't wanna rent a car and deal with the TRAFFIC!!! i went to the site when i heard LAST year Richard would be there.....but alas i never followed through. i'll be at coachella though =) |

merzbow sucked ass....one loud annoying sound afer another for 40 minutes....boredoms were really good....and everyone there seemed to be waiting for richard the whole entire time....he was only supposed to be on for 1 hour and 15 mins but he was on for 1 hour and 40.....who was that blonde chick dancing onstage at one point (his girlf?)...i was SO happy to hear him play that song from hangable auto bulb...couldnt stop dancing the whole time...i wish he wasnt sittin so low on the ground so i coulda gotten better pictures of him.... |

cool i haven't seen aphex twin since his show with the sneaker pimps a few years ago. sneaker pimps sucked arse by the way. merzbow has like a billion cd's out. he has to be the most prolific noise artist. he released a 50 cd box set a couple years ago. |
