i'll help:

Macy gray sounds like a five year old with throat cancer

Joanna Newsom sounds like a five year old on helium and
deserves to be stabbed in the head

The amount of times people insult each other for a
difference of opinion is shocking but not surprising.

shit your joking, i didn't know she was performing here...
she's probably the artist i'd most like to see in concert at
the moment! Nevermind, i'll just have to her when she next
tours.

and to respond to the first comment in the topid, her voice
is beautiful and unique

Milk Eyed Mender is a terrific masterpiece. It was seriously
all I listened to for months.

Ys took away the raw sincerity that made her voice not only
tolerable but thoroughly enjoyable, and piled a bunch of
over-produced flutteryness onto the music and just made a
mess of her work. It really made me sad.

I think ys is excellent too, definitely harder to get into
though and i have to be in the mood to listen to that
record.
