I come here because there are posts and threads being every
time of day, because I've come to know (at least recognize)
some of the people here and - mostly - because it has become
an habit of mine. How about you?

On the off chance that Warp employ me as an A&R man and I
can rescue electronic music before it's too late, or
Autechre ask me to join them on tour as on-stage Jazz
Monkey.

No, I would do interpretive dance in a jazz fashion on stage
whilst they "dropped" their "beats. I don't really know
where the monkey bit came from.

I can dress as a monkey if required though, guys. Get in
contact, let me know, you've got my number. I'll leave it on
your answerphone again though as you seem to keep forgetting
to write it down.

i chalk it up to idiocy. it's ostensibly to glean
information about past and upcoming music releases, but that
seems to happen less and less. it's also a time killer at
work. ordinarily i come to my senses before submitting
another useless post, but occasionally one gets away from me
before i manage to restrain myself.

on an unrelated note, i have renamed the "ellipses" the
"wait for it."

Boredom, admittedly.

Having been familiar with this board for over 5 years makes
me feel somewhat at ease too, despite the high amount of
demographic turnover throughout the past few years. Even
with all the oddballs and druggies here, there's at least
some redeeming quality, especially in terms of common tastes
in music.

Nice one!

I browse by now and then, just to browse the threads, hide
in the shadows without posting....it intrigues me to see if
those who used to post as much as I did, and more are still
here years later and havent left.

I also wonder whether or not the arguments and squabbles
still happen, and from what I see the answer is yes, just
with different faces - nothing changes!
