Maaan. When I started hanging around at XLT five years ago,
I visited the warp-website every day. There was new and
interesting releases, but also special campaigns and
exciting re-stocks. Remember getting Bradley's Robot, Hi
Scores (semi-rarity back then), ABB 3.1, and also waiting
and hour, mailing frenetically with the webmaster when the
system almost fucked up my Buzz Caner-vinyl. No, I visit
Warp once a month, mostly just to get a confirmation that
nothing has ahppened over there. :(

I almost feel like bursting your bubble, but I check the RSS
feed of Bleep on an almost daily basis. Looking for new
online releases. And restocks of sold out mp3's (i hate it
when they release a limited amount of mp3-copies...)

Warpmart is still decent, even if the label itself is slowly
going down the shitter. I've picked up a few excellent
records there lately and they're reasonably priced too.

Warp even nicked a review of mine to use in their
description for a paperclip people release. The sly foxes.

The rise and fall of a label....history repeats itself again
and again... well, Warp is pushing twenty so what could you
expect? Same thing happened to 4AD... But what is the really
groundbreaking label these days?

(HELP! I'm old...)

I'm with mortsto on this. I used to check that site a fuck
lot more than I do now. I can't remember the last time I
went on there.
