LAZY_SCUM

This makes for a really interesting read. It seems almost
too much to be true but I can easily believe it reading all
the various posts on the paypalsucks forum.

i heard on the internet paypalsucks is set up by a
competitor and you can make that out close reading it and
that it's a fact you'll only get in trouble with paypal if
you are fishy yourself

Yeah, I wouldn't really give much credit to a site with
"CLICK HERE FOR OUR PAYPAL ALTERNATIVE" links everywhere.

i thought that too initially but i've been reading around
and it seems to add up. the paypal alternative does seem to
be infinitely better than paypal. instead of some shitty
online money holder you get a real merchant account. my
account has also been randomly frozen. they don't respond to
emails and have asked me for about 50 million pieces of
personal information (most of which i can't provide. i mean
i don't even have a drivers licence)

not at all saying that i am going to use that 'paypal
alternative'. god no. looks horribly tacky

why can't i pay with a creditcard directly? or could i do
that on ebay?

What gives that PayPalSucks site away is the massive long
posts, exactly what spammers do or crappy marketing schemes,
I don't know the psychology of it but it seems like if you
think some person has put in so much effort to write so much
it must be genuine, or if you read so much of it you feel
obliged to agree or ... I always wondered why they write
these long tracts, who is going to read all of it, but the
technique does spell FRAUDULENT in big flashing lights.

i've used paypal for 2 years or so quite actively, both for
servers, domains, paying various people, and i can honestly
say ive never had any problems..

i didnt read the entire post on the ppsucks.com forum, but
so far i don't see a reason to ditch paypal.

paypal froze my account... i still don't have it back.

But the good thing is it's caused me to go more ligit and
mainstream with my pay solutions. It was a hastle at first,
but now it's just how i work.... I'm not a fan of Paypal
but it hasn't stopped me from doing whatever I need to do

It's a bit of a conundrum for me. I've never had any
problems with paypal and have used it for 3 years and I
agree that the links to the alternative company do raise the
bullshit flag, but I continually read more and more posts on
this and other forums by people who seem to be legitimately
fucked by Paypal. I'm almost afraid NOT to close my account
because it's just not worth it to have money stolen when I
barely have any as it is, especially considering that I only
use E-bay a couple times a year now.

the way to not have to worry about pay pal is to not keep
any money in it

as soon as you get some money put it in your bank account

when you need to spend it it'll automatically withdraw the
exact amount from your bank account

Anyone check the banner at the bottom of the screen?

I probably will go about closing down my paypal acount after
reading this. I have boycotted all transactions through ebay
with american sellers, and therefor have practically stopped
needing to use paypal, but that messageboard gives me cause
for concern.

No problems with paypal. I'm on my 5th year now. Used it
today on ebay. What really worries me is this "Uberweisung
Plus" crap some use on german ebay. It's bank transfer..
IBAN Bic/Swift dick shit..
