Do you think that there is anyone in the world intrested in
those 66 cd's that haven't already bought several of them?
Why a big package, instead of letting people bid on the
items they want?

Mortsto-x is right, you know. I know it's more convenient to
put them all in one package, but unless you're v. lucky and
get an idm n00b who has just gotten into this sort of stuff,
or an mp3 horder who has had a sudden feeling of guilt and
decided to go legit, you won't get a good price for them. I
reckon you'd be lucky to get £100 for that lot, whereas
seperately, you could probably get twice that.

...or someone who had a truck with a leaky roof, and one
night after DJing, left his CD's in the car, where they were
eventually covered in water, and all destroyed. ;)

I am prepared to get all these rubbish CDs just to get hold
of Jamiroquai's Synkronized.

I'm sure you'd make far more money selling these either in
smaller packages (perhaps by artist, or similar styles) or
even individually than that rather random collection of 66.

Alternatively, someone else buys the lot and then sells them
separately themselves.

Yes. 2nd hand record stores/record fair stands often buy
lots like this, sell the more valuable stuff on ebay to get
a good price on it, then whack the rest in the store. They
also tend not to pay very good prices. I've been quoted "£1
per cd" before now.

"Why a big package, instead of letting people bid on the
items they want?"

answering emails, dealing with ebay, packing them up and
sending them is not worth the hassle.

keep the decent/rare/valuable ones to sell individually on
ebay and flog the rest to some random guy in a shop.
