So i was browsing some stuff on demonoid and there was a
torrent for that Al Gore movie an inconvenient truth, in the
comments people were saying they got emails from their ISP's
and shit after downloading it that they were aware they were
downloading copyright material. So in installed peer
guardian and then went to another torrent and downloaded
(tried to) the same movie. About 3 minutes in i got super
paranoid from some reason and closed it out and deleted the
torrent and data file. So i keep peer guardian running and
now im getting all these blocked things from UDP from places
like Conservative Party Slnt, Time Warner Telecom, Inc.,
Brivate Bellsouth customer, Republican Association
BelTeleCom. Im kinda weirded out by this, why would all
these things be coming, especially since i just was
attempting to download a movie tied to al gore haha. Im sure
ill get an email from my ISP regarding this, but then again
maybe not if i blocked it via peer guardian. Anyways has
anyone else had this type of thing happen, strange things
coming in via block list on peer guardian? Or your ISP
emailing you after you had downloaded something?

Hey it was on the internetz and i didn't know better...i
mean if its on the internet it has to be legit right? Bah,
whos to say that pirating things off bit torrents is "bad",
pashaw! And i love the people who advocate not using bit
torrent or preach about the bad things about piracy yet they
have bit torrent running in the background downloading the
first two seasons of Lost. Practice what you preach.
