i think we actually coverd this one. everyone says lfo songs
are the better ones.

personally i really like one of them..specially for playing
in a club, though people here have different ideas on good
dance music.

i will again say

lfo songs are the better ones (by FAR)

but i do enjoy remixing the afx ones since they're so skimpy

The AFX ones sound a bit like unfinished Analords, but not
bad. I certainly prefer the LFO half, Pathfinder, yes

and we definetly already discussed this

How much does it go for on ebay anyway? I have a spare one
laying around somewhere with warp sticker.

I agree that the LFO ones are indeed much better, especially
Flu shot. The Aphex ones sound decidedly half-arsed in
comparison.

but the lfo ones are the afx ones as they were mislabelled

;)

He he, I've got Wipeout Pure, so I know which tracks are
which :)

I bought it to make my millions on ebay in a few years.

It hasn't happened :(

the Naks Acid on Wipeout Pure is slightly different isn't
it?

Dunno, I've not listened to the one on my 12" copy more than
once, one of Aphex's worst tracks IMO. :)

I've only played mine once whilst recording it though.
I have pure on the psp but don't have a recording of that
version.
I like it, perhaps more minimal than his usual but I prefer
that style in general.

It just sounds like a bad Re-birth track to me. A lot of
tracks on rebirth vibes are better IMO. ;)

There are two slightly different versions yes, one is called
Naks 11 or something I think

both the naks acid tracks are exactly the same apart from
one's called naks acid and one's called naks 11

for what i remember, they are not exaclty the same track...
one has pauses in the track where the other hasnt, amongst
other really little differences...

I think all four tracks are cool. The AFX ones are nice as
fuck...I think the intro section to Naks is what puts people
off but once it gets going it's fuckin kicking.

The LFO ones are total quality though. Out of both sets the
LFO ones have the edge.

Um, no at least both vlari and myself have both said we
really like it...unless vlari was referring to the possible
mislabel which would leave just me which means you still
aren't the only one, unless you want me to start hating it,
in which case you can be (possibly)

I remember DeepSpace9mm saying he really liked it too.

I'd like it in a party atmos', but for home listening, sat
in your pants and your misery, it's a bit irritating. Hey,
maybe it's cool in the computer videogame or whatever it's
from.

I don't really like it in the game either. To paraphrase
someone else on the MB (forget who it was), "Ironic that in
a music playlist by so many artists, the one track I choose
to leave out is by my favourite artist, Aphex Twin."

Still, I'm glad other people liked it though.

naks would be good if it wasn't so poorly mixed. It has
almost no low end boom for a typical aphex acid track

ya, it's dope the weird visuals i get.

flu-shot, the very beginning, a beat getting blasted out of
a cannon then transforms and GOES!

46 analord maspld at 1'07 the beast wakes up like a fucking
animal.

the LFO side still reigns supreme. afx ones have grown on me
a bit, but they still feel lacking in some way. i guess it's
the expectation of more "drive" in the tunes.
