has an artist ever made a 3d cover?

...u know, like those ones where u put ur face up to it,
gradually move it away from u and 3d
letters/words/pictures/etc appear...

"I prefer covers that seem like some effort was put into
them. "

LOL! The Twoism cover is a screen capture from an old Sci-Fi
movie called "Killing At Outpost Zeta" which was made back
in 1987. The cover shot happens around the last 10 minutes
of the movie.

It's still a really neat picture though, and perfect for
that EP.

Yeah but it fits so well I feel they must have spent time
looking for the PERFECT frame :) I mdont really know what im
trying to say about "effort being put into it" its probably
a bunch of crap. What I should have said was, "I hate babes
with ugly mugs for album comvers" Things like Tortoise TNT I
also hate. Bah I dont know what im talking about, anyways...
ahem...

I love when the box of the cd is not plastic... you know
when its soft...kind of hard-plastic paper.

thats why I love the artwork and cover of the K&D sessions

Yeah K+D Sessions has a wicked cover. I really hope Peace
Orchestra puts out a new album some time. Dorfmeister is
being super prolific, Kruder needs to get with it.

we did NOT get that cover.....it was not released in north
america....although i did see a VERY expensive import in
vancouver last time i was there.

they also took off a song regarding or called NYC
cops.....after 9/11...very WEAK of them i thought. =(

You could order it from the UK Amazon site and get the song
and cover. Only drawback being paying our CD prices. You
Americans are lucky paying less for music.

Manic Street Preachers 'The Holy Bible'.
Cover quote;

You're obliged to pretend respect for people and
institutions you think absurd. You live attached in a
cowardly fashion to moral and social conventions you
despise, condemn, and know lack all foundation. It is that
permanent contradiction between your ideas and desires and
all the dead formalities and vain pretenses of your
civilization which makes you sad, troubled and unbalanced.
In that intolerable conflict you lose all joy of life and
all feeling of personality, because at every moment they
suppress and restrain and check the free play of your
powers. That's the poisoned and mortal wound of the
civilized world.

Chemical Brothers - Exit Planet Dust
it breaks up with the traditional "techno" cover artwork
i.e, abstract patterns and shapes.
Aphex Twin - I Care Because You Do
It's art.
