fuck you, homes.

There are jewels in the crown of England's glory
And every jewel shines a thousand ways

Frankie Howerd, Noel Coward and garden gnomes
Frankie Vaughan, Kenneth Horne, Sherlock Holmes
Monty, Biggles and Old King Cole
In the pink or on the dole
Oliver Twist and Long John Silver
Captain Cook and Nelly Dean
Enid Blyton, Gilbert Harding
Malcolm Sargeant, Graham Greene (Graham Greene)

All the jewels in the crown of England's glory
Too numerous to mention, but a few
And every one could tell a different story
And show old England's glory something new

Nice bit of kipper and Jack the Ripper and Upton Park
Gracie, Cilla, Maxy Miller, Petula Clark
Winkles, Woodbines, Walnut Whips
Vera Lynn and Stafford Cripps
Lady Chatterley, Muffin the Mule
Winston Churchill, Robin Hood
Beatrix Potter, Baden-Powell
Beecham's powders, Yorkshire pud (Yorkshire pud)

With Billy Bunter, Jane Austen
Reg Hampton, George Formby
Billy Fury, Little Titch
Uncle Mac, Mr. Pastry and all
Uncle mac, Mr. Patry and all

All the jewels in the crown of England's glory
Too numerous to mention, but a few
And every one could tell a different story
And show old England's glory something new

Somerset Maugham, Top Of The Form with the Boys' Brigade
Mortimer Wheeler, Christine Keeler and the Board of Trade
Henry Cooper, wakey wakey, England's labour
Standard Vanguard, spotted dick, England's workers

I'm always impressed by how well stocked British
supermarkets are. Some of the tescos are the size of a small
village. It's amazing. What do children do when they get
lost in one of those? I'd curl up into a ball and cry,
that's what I'd do, if I was a child. One remarkable
difference I've noticed between most of what I've seen in
Britain, and say, the Western Cape, is that in Britain
people mind their own business. You’re lucky to get a
friendly scowl or a suspicious look, where in the Cape,
everyone's greeting everyone in the street, regardless of
whether they know each other or not. I prefer both really,
when I'm overdosed on smiles, I really miss the anonymity of
walking through English streets. England's not pathetic
(Good way to get attention, Redrum), it has a good social
welfare system in place and it's near impossible to be
jobless (unless your an invalid). I wouldn't mind living
there.

I take you do actually look around the world you're living
in don't you?

It seems as if you just rally against something and don't
stop and see what's happening near you. Just like England
there's parts of Ireland that are fucking violent. I don't
see how this makes England any more pathetic. Get off your
20 foot horse.

in the same way that the human race is pathetic
enlgand does have the most pathetic of the most pathetic
qualitites but it also has the best of the best too.
you have to choose whether to fight depression and force
yourself to look on the bright side or to live let the
misery and torment continually beat you
being pessimistic is the safest bet for sure
but you only live once so must not block off opportunities
for something great to happen sometimes, i.e if you are
ultra hard you MUST choose optimism, also if you are ultra
stupid.
the moral is "you can't win either way" completely
not black or white just shades of brown
yeaaah mann

england as a whole is a very ugly country, with (no offense)
generally very ugly people, especially the woman (again,
generally, not everyone, obviously)

but they have also been responsible for some of the greatest
music of the 20th century (not so much in the 21st) so i
shall give them eternal credit for that.

but as a whole, england can be described in one word: grey.

some of the sexiest women in the world are english.

no doubt about that.

but you dont see many elizabeth hurleys walking the streets
of manchester dont you? you see loads of flabby, pale
coloured and generally overweight girls walking them. this
was evident last year at the benicassim festival. most of
the spanish and continental girls looked great, whereas to
see a great looking english girl was quite hard (not
impossible, just hard).

same goes for the guys, english guys and continental guys
simple arent comparable, but the problem is somehow more
evident with the females.

So Liz Hurley is the gold standard?!

I think people in the UK have had issues with our weight in
recent years and we also don't get as much sun as people in
the warmer parts of Europe so we can look a bit pasty.

You don't see many Liz Hurley standard chicks walking along
the road in any country you dumb cunt. Show me a country
where the majority of people are that quality and I'll
concede to saying that all english women are ugly and I
wouldn't touch them if my life depended on it. Fucking hell,
is it just me or do about 90% of the world think that the
Hollywood version of English men and women is true? You do
know that Austin Powers was a "comedy" don't you? It wasn't
a documentary. Unlike Highlander.

ugly and hot at the same time. Just through my eyes,
perhaps. There are plenty of attractive English women,
though

i don't know about that. his reason is his opinion; that
they're mostly ugly.

i don't agree with it myself - but the only way you could
interpret it as being sexist is if you were to believe that
acknowledging the fact that there are two sexes to be
sexist.

what he said might be over-generalising, and I don't agree
with it, but it's anything but sexist.

there is no need for every women to look like hurley for the
population to be nice. i mentioned hurley just cause
someone said that some of the world's best looking women are
british, which is true.

But saying that there are as many good looking english women
(ratio/percentage wise) as there are say, french or italian
or spanish women, is pure folly. pure and simple folly.
english people simple are not even in the same league as
their european counterparts when it comes to beauty. that's
quite a fact, unless you're british and you want to continue
denying that very obvious fact.

Depends on your definition of sexism and racism. I'd say, in
the normal, negative use of the words, neither of those
things are sexist or racist unless that was the speakers
intention; You can't disregard the intentions of the person
in judging him or his opinions.

I'm just saying he probably didn't mean anything sexist by
it; he didn't mean to degrade anyone based on sex, but
rather on their appearance. I'm not sure he consciously
meant to degrade anyone either.. If I said that I find most
British women ugly, I wouldn't really mean anything bad by
it in that way, you know what I mean?

I do think most people try not to say
offensive/sexist/racist things. I didn't say he is a bad

a sexist idea that simply isn't true. Nobody's trying to
muzzle him, but just because he probably didn't mean any
harm doesn't mean nobody should point it out to him. God

as he, without realizing...I'm glad to have somebody to
