any of you into this stuff? my mate at school does it every
week.

you have to listen to some special high-frequency recording
that pans from one ear to another which is meant to
synchronise both of your brain hemispheres together so you
can concentrate better.

i wanted to download some of this stuff but i cannot find
any reliable source and all those russian sites with it make
me a bit suspicous.

i mean i'm not afraid of waking up as a zombie afterwards
but i'm maybe a but afraid that it could cause some
headaches or so.

I've been listening to hemi sync for 3 years now,
consistently. Amazing stuff, I made a thread about it some
time ago, didn't really catch on.

It usually hits me after 15 minutes of listening. I'll start
to think, is it working yet? But you'll know when
it's working. My body feels like its floating and I can see
the most stunning closed eye visuals without the aid of
drugs.

Sadist: The best source and best quality out there is the
'Ultra Meditation" series by Dane Spotts. May or may not be
easy to find, I'm sharing it on slsk. My username is
'Mentaural'

I had experimented with low level frequencies when I was
having some sleep problems a few years back... It's odd to
red-line a mixer, and hear no sound, but you can see the
cone pulsing.

Not 100% sure if it helped or not, but my old housemate said
it had an effect on his sleep patterns.

I'm sure. I'm not saying I was having an astral projection
or any of that crap others say, I was just having some
really vivid visuals and floating sensations,
weightlessness.

Heres some info on the 5 levels. You can't just
listen to them all, any order, or at any time. Works
progressively, took me 2 months to get sensations from level
2, the brain isn't entrained to pick up on it until it's
accustomed to level 1. I don't know how to explain it, maybe
the site does. Enjoy!

It's best to lie down with your eyes shut. I also listen
when I'm online or doing school work, when I'm doing these
activities I'm not sure if it's working or not. When I do
the former, strange things happen within 10-15 minutes!

I DLed some brain wave program a few years ago where you
could make programs to make you do various things, feel more
sleepy, feel more alert, concentrate better, etc.

Didn't work consistently for me (which makes me think it
probably wasn't a placebo), but when it worked it was
definately noticeable. As Gwely says, nothing really
odd/supernatural, just a very definate sense of
alertness/awareness (the sleepy one just made me go to sleep
within 5 minutes of listening).

BTW, meant to ask, is this the same thing- high freq sounds,
have to listen to it on headphones?
