Strange that i walked into a record shop a few weeks ago
and found this 2006 re-release on vinyl without any mention
of it here!

Anyone else get it? At last, Tamphax and Polynomial-c on
vinyl (i know R&S re-released the 4 track xylem tube ep too)

In vascular plants, phloem is the living tissue that carries
organic nutrients, particularly sucrose, to all parts of the
plant where needed. In trees, the phloem is underneath and
difficult to distinguish from bark, hence the name, derived
from the Greek word phloios for "bark".

In vascular plants, xylem is one of the two types of
transport tissue in plants, phloem being the other one. The
word "xylem" is derived from classical Greek
ξυλον (xylon), "wood", and indeed
the best known xylem tissue is wood, though it is found
throughout the plant.

It was the first aphex twin album i bought, and i was
extremely dissapointed, because i was expecting something in
the line of Come to daddy, because it was the only thing i
had seen up till then.

Remastered...Weren't the masters just analogue tapes
(casettes)? How are they going to sound any better? Sounds
like a load of crap.

boomkat stored some copies of "classics" remastered and
(which is more happy news for me) also "SAW '85-'92" on
vinyl LP. I got my copy through eil.com - it is coming.
Fucking polish post - I am waiting for about 2 weeks (It
will probably take them about whole month to get sober
after New Year's Eve. Bunch of alcoholics!)...

I was going to get SAW after new year, but now they're out
of stock again, and maybe for the last time, who knows.

I'm sure there'll be a "lush" quadruple vinyl bonus tracks
remasterd / re-recorded / Free RDJ with every preorder
edition on its 20th anniversary in 2012.

didnt notice any major difference with the saw85-92
remaster, to be honest. they probably just recut it to a new
master or something

they probably hired steve jobs to do the marketing for this
revolutionary 'remastered' release.
