lost in translation.

That film fascinates me every time. It says so much about
life and relationships without really saying anything.

Also Gwenneth Paltrow in Se7en, and the wife character in
The Last Kiss, i forget her name. She appealed to me more
than the student shag in the film.

good example.

Julie Delpy in Homo Faber/The Voyager

Pretty much centered around her dad wanting to bang her

Amelie, sort of, but I also wanted to punch her lights out.

Girl Next Door... it was so blatant I thought it would be
awful but it was quite good
I usually get a bit emotional over the girl in Once Upon A
Time In The West but I think theres some other stuff in that
film too, something about a magic harmonica or whatever

The women from Kieslowski's Three Colors, especially
Irene Jacob from Red.

Tilda Swinton in Orlando...her androgyny is
artful...

And although the movie wasn't entirely about her, Rose
McGowan
in The Doom Generation.

i must confess that the real reason why i opened this thread
is because the other day i knew a girl that was exactly like
lylia (of lylia forever), thin girl, palid skin, blonde,
black smiley seriously sad eyes... lovely... she was even
called liliana! isnt that curious and amazing? i must do
something to better know her...
