Oh, I trust it will get way better. I'm a big kid. :] Sure,
I can get a new job, sure, the car accident was only minor.
See, the old guy behind me was dozing or something and
didn't put on his brakes at the red light and ended up
hitting me at 30 or so. Oddly enough, it only left a TINY
scratch on my rear bumper but it fucked up his front bumper
pretty bad. I told him I wouldn't press charges, and it was
cool, only I wasn't paying for his stuff, he said fine, and
we both left. Settled out of court, so to speak.

As for the job, our registers are always over and short, and
they aways work each other out. So it's no suprise that ine
came up 104 short the other day. Some people have had theirs
be 200 short in the past, but for some reason, this time the
manager decides to call me out! Now this, I don't find fair.
My job was "terminated" and I'll still get the next two
weeks of pay, just now I'm looking for a new job too. Won't
be that hard I don't think.

I'll just keep my chin up. :]

Now, is this post sarcastic? Haha! I'm just kidding, thanks
for your concern though. It will get better, I mean this is
just one day's events.

Hmm, don't know where you are, but in this country - the UK
- it's illegal to be summarily dismissed.

I reckon it was because we have had so many executives come
in lately and inspect our store, my manager fially got his
act together and decided to show them that he has control. I
mean the registers are always off by hundreds even, and he's
just started caring because his job is on the line.

No matter; I would check out whether what he did was legal
or not - if not, you have a rightful claim for "unfair
dismissal". Obviously, I'm not an expert in US law, but I do
know the laws are often stacked in the Employer's favour:
still, check it out, yo.

sounds like a crappy business you don't want to work for
anyways. the manager should have been given the sack a long
time ago. so the executives are a sack of twats too,
probably.

Well, I've heard they were asses, but never really thought
they were 'til today.

They gave him two weeks pay. In most countries that wouldn't
be illegal. Thats exactly how it needs to be done.

In the UK it's not about whether they give you two weeks pay
or not - you can't just be sacked like that. End of.
