I wish it was filmed on film, not DV. Still looking forward
to it though.

yeah the bunnies thing is from the unreleased "sitcom" he
did a while back on dv cam. Im not sure if they refilmed
the same concept for this new movie or just used footage
from 'Rabbits'.

that already makes me suspicious - i mean he has to add at
least a few minutes of "rabbits" to make clear what it's
about - but this could mean that there is also half an hour
of rabbits in it. that would be shit

offline trentee from Berlin (Germany) on 2006-12-03 13:30 [#02012122]
Points: 1081 Status: Lurker

used footage from old rabbits (about 5 minutes for the whole
movie) and one new angle shot (from the "frog perspective")

the English!

Oh, might add that the trailer feels like Silent Hill (the
game-series) and Requiem for a Dream.

Much cooler than the first one. For some reason, i can't
help to think that Lynch has slept with Laura Dern.

I have my tickets to see it in San Rafael on Jan 19th...

Lynch will be in attendance!

I'm thinking I should hobble up to him real slowly, maybe
with an eyepatch and some dirt on my face... and stick out
my hand, and really slowly open my palm to reveal a shiny
ball of tinfoil and mud, with a twig and leaf sticking out
of it... make eye contact and walk away.

Or maybe I'll just ask him when the fuck a real transfer of
Lost Highway is coming on a region 1 dvd.

yeah, it is a very haunting motive that comes over and over
again during the film.

Optimum has picked up UK distribution on this one so
hopefully it will be shown around a little more than I
thought. March 9th seems to be the date. Tick tock.

David Lynch has the best lamps and wall paints in the
business. The best curtains also. The IE red curtain scene
is especially haunting. Fun house experience that
definately needs to be seen in a dark theatre.

yeah, Industrial Symphony's great :) Thanks for the link.
Iwant "INLAND EMPIRE". Saw it only once, it's haunting.
28hour headache after that. But, man! What a headache! A
damn good cup of coffee!

saw the premiere in los angeles last month, then again. it's
incredible, cinema lives

it looks like someone besides lynch cut the italian trailer
though; not done in his style like the other 2

Lynch is working on OST for "INLAND EMPIRE". There are some
copyright issues. The song in trailer is called "The Ghost
of Love" and is performed by Lynch. Can't wait to hear this
soundtrack. I would publish ithis one on heavyweight vinyl,
aaaaaargh!

Blue ribbon on black monolith tombstone. Kubrick gets it.

DVD should be just as good if you have access to a decent
set-up, seeing as how it's digital to begin with. I hadn't
paid for a movie ticket for a couple of years so this was a
big deal for me. Glad it didn't have any sword fights.

Jeremy Irons in a Lynch movie, that deserves a modest wtf!
Somehow I see him more as a 'needs a well-defined story'
kind of actor.

blinking. It is the other side of being a genius.
