wolfslice: If you ask me Pants off dance off is the bigger
tragedy.

mappatazee: my bedroom: stephanie_tanner_surprise@yahoo.com

BIYC mp3s I downloaded.. :)

Can I just say this is wicked, and I have downloaded all
these songs and they are great.

I'm surprised I like this 'cause I really can't stand little
girls, I had a really annoying little sister that I didn't
get on with until she was about 17.

You're Stephanie Tanner Suprised... do you see what I
did there?

I'll get my coat (a la 90s comedy The Fast Show, obviously
not as good as some cutting edge new Internet based
Pod-Funny)

so, out of curiosity, if he gets a record deal, will he have
to change his name due to copyright law?

otherwise: free neon pink slap bracelets for all!

slightly unnerving is how i describe this, at least when
it's on this myspace page

thanks swears, ol' boy! I appreciate the ear time.

As for copyright, I don't forsee a record deal so it
probably won't come up. Otherwise, probably ask for a
dispensation from Miller and Boyett to spare myself an
appropriation lawsuit or something?

This is some really refreshing shit. Like dog_belch pointed
out, it's a real treat to see someone pull off the retro
thing without overdoing it or using it as a crutch when the
music turns out to be shit. Thank you for sharing these
great tunes with us, free of charge

If you don't mind my asking, was this done with hardware or
software synths, or both?

Thanks, guys, for the kind comments and your time..!

Zephyr, in answer to your question: They were made using
software only.. mostly Buzz and samples. Thanks for your
genuine interest and listening!

Hey, sorry guys.. but thank you for the interest. I realize
I haven't updated anything in ages on that page. The honest
truth is that I'm waiting to finish up some good new stuff
rather than throw half finished crap up there. But I'll
upload some new mp3s from the CD I did finish in the next
day or two. In the meantime, there's a couple of other
tracks here:

If I was any self respecting Record Label A&R motherfucker,
I would sign STS before you could say "Hey, I think I just
dropped all the coke in the urinal", WHERE IS THE MUSICAL
JUSTICE? Fucking FLying Lotus, distribute STS and save

This thread is like an overdose on hyperbole. I listened to
a couple of the songs and my impression is "meh". Nothing
against uviol, because I think he's a swell poster here on
this site, it's just the music didn't do anything for me,
sorry.

'controversial' too! Who woulda thought?

I don't see why it's controversial. I think you're a great
poster here on xltronic, and I think I even remember talking
to you once about our shared interest in Third Eye Blinds
first album :P

It's just this music doesn't really do much for me. Doesn't
mean it's not good, just means it's not for me.

No problem man. I was actually just listening to some
Digital Mantra and must say it's really intriguing me.
Dachora's Spineshark (probably because of the Super Metroid
picture) struck me as a musical video game interpretation..
and not exactly in an 8bit revival sort of way. It's hard
to explain, but those irregular squelches don't sound
stereotypically 'IDM'. They sound like someone frenetically
fighting off legions of enemies and picking up powerups.
This sounds laughable I know but I really did have a
mini-epiphany while that song was playing.. so thanks. :)
