Permission to speak sir...

You're the only poster on here that's from South America
(there maybe more, I've just not seen them yet) and being in
that part of the world, do you get to see many of the
British acts that you like; that's when you're not 'doing
most people over' btw.

I'm a nosey cunt me, I like to find things out about people
and with the information at the tip of my fingers, I
couldn't help myself by starting with you. I noticed your
influences are predominantly from the 80s and was chuffed to
see the Human League and Propaganda on your list - were
these two big 'darn saff' or have you lived in the UK and
picked up on them here?

Honestly, I'm dead interested and everything.

*John Carpenter's films and music are great too

Don't worry, I'm not wanting to bum you I'm really
interested, honest guv.

You want to bum me, but that's fine. I am from london, or
sarf lahndahn to be more accurate. I have only lived in The
Big Chile for 3 years owing to my wife being from "this neck
of the woods".

Regarding pop stars playing here, only this week Ian Brown
played (though he was on a bill with The Rasmus and Black
Eyed Peas, ergo I could not / would not go) and last month
Daft Punk and Beastie Boys played, but I couldn't go, again.
Earlier in the year I saw Oasis, but they were dull. New
Order played last week in Argentina, I wouldve liked to have
gone. In South America I think acts visit Brasil, Argentina
and Chile, pretty much. I've heard there's an exciting
performance happening here next year which I am looking
forward to but I'll wait till it's announced to go properly
batso.

Good stuff db - Some good acts there, though I'm not an
Oasis fan, big on The Stone Roses and felt Oasis pinched
their image slightly (you could accuse the Roses of doing
the same suppose)

Exciting performance?

I don't want to bum you, well, not yet anway.

Well if I say Beckenham it rings no bells but it's between
Bromley and Lewisham.

I'm glad you said the last two as Beckenham rings no bells.
However, I can now place your accent better.
