SQUAREPUSHER LIVE @ 10PM GMT

Hi,
Mum just told me Squarepusher's playing live tonight as part
of the Electric Proms. It's being broadcast on Radio 1 and
starts at 10pm GMT according to this. Someone
gonna record this?

Sorry if it's already been posted.

The reason he got involved with the Electric Proms was that
he was entertained by the possibility of playing some of his
music to people who might not have heard it before.
In his opinion as a professional practitioner of the
performing arts who has received several awards for creative
endeavor and who hopes to receive many more of the same, not
withstanding an as yet unpremeditated "fall from grace", He
thinks that it promotes positive cultural development by
allowing forward thinking musicians to be heard in public!

This reminds me why I don't bother with the radio, who is
that Irish turd presenter that manages to make every WORD he
says a pain up the arse?

yeah, jesus christ... radio hosts are in general just
fucking intrusive cunts who always TALK OVER THE MUSIC. i
think it's a form of sadism.

Radio One is 80% bloody annoying arse, 10% annoying arse, 9%
arse and 1% quality.
Before John Peel died it was 10% quality. John Peel would
have played all of it.

It was fucking ace. I loved it. My Mum enjoyed it too. Yes,
my mother came with me to see Squarepusher. Loved it.

The Horrors were on before. Quite possibly the second worst
live performance I have ever witnessed.

The Horrors were on the radio when I tuned in tonight. They
didn't sound very good.

Hecker at ATP. Absolute shite. Just a droning din. Ceri'll
back me up on this.

If you fancy an mp3 or flac of the two Squarepusher tracks
played on R1 earlier I recorded them. Just say the word.
(Include the word "mp3" or the word "flac" depending.)

The word is said mate. Go crazy on that uploading action.

Incidentally, I put a directory browsing script in your
folder

http://giginger.co.uk/uploads/xceque/

It's modifiable if you want to have a play with it. Or, if
you know a better one then feel free to chuck that in there.
I've been looking for a good one.

awesome.

The only thing I'd change would be to make the filename
column (and the table obviously) resize to fit the browser
page width. But looking at style sheets makes my head ache.

Editing someone else's code almost never does what you

Well, it seems it's the PHP that's limiting the character
length and not some CSS overflow. At least not one that I
can see.

PHP is out of my league.

Ah well. People will just have to guess what the end of each
filename is :) Or they could look in the status bar.

the second of the two recorded tracks was definately the of
the highlight of the nite. Pure Squarepusher acid... It was
mainly a hello everything showcase but it was a shame he
didnt play some of the better tracks- plotinus would have
been sweet.. plus the whole set was only 35 min long which
was a major fucking disapointment along with some technical
glitches which fucked up the flow on a good few occasions.
not a patch on the koko show.crowd reaction was great - at
least half the people were there to see him - half to see
the racantours... who themselves only played for an hour -
short sets all round. still 35 min wtf im glad i didnt
travel too far to see that.
