supposedly question/answer session with that guy who represents north korea.
There are many really really stupid questions, but at the
same time some of the answers are a bit scary:

Q: Are the NK people allowed to protest?
Do North Korea have a free press? Can people dissagree
against the nucklear program or go in the streets with
banners and paroles against your goverment?

A:To be honest, my answer is NO. We have only 20 million
populations and are all soldiers there in different services
and levels. It is small but very collective country. Have
you ever seen soldiers protest in any country ?

You do, at least, have to acknowledge that this has been a
boon for British tabloid newspaper headlines. Classics like
the Sun's "How do you solve a problem like Korea" and the
Star's "Bad Korea Move" will stay with me for some time. And
the BBC News 24 story featuring excerpts from Team
America... joy.
It's pretty surreal really.

it was a "net meeting," it's a thing this newspaper does
where the readers are invited to ask someone questions and
they'll answer.. this one is over already, though. you can
probably mail him somehow, though.. he gave his mail in one
of the answers.

I have no idea really how nukes work, but it would be great
if they came up w/ bomb that neutralizes a nuclear
explosion. Have it explode when the bomb explodes. You could
have them planted in all maor cities.

"US scientists found that there were traces of radioactive
gas in the air near the site of last Monday's alleged
nuclear test.

White House officials cautioned that this result alone did
not confirm a successful test but it could mean that a
nuclear test had been attempted."

Still no confirmation that they tested or, if they did, that
it actually worked.

haha, you'd need like a black hole that you put on top of
the bomb.

Their missiles didn't work and possibly their nukes don't
work..........

Has this regime been responsible for any terrorist strikes
in the past? Not counting kidnapping Japanese and South
Korean nationals.

Have they been responsible for distributing missile
technology to "rogue" states?

Im not worried, as nacmat stated, America is the only
country to date to really throw the atomic bomb. Im more
afraid of the usa gov over reacting.

the whole "usa being the only ones to ever use the bomb"
saying?

umm, it's a little bit deeper than that im afraid. im not
going to go into it because if you don't realize how the
outcome might have been (it was still a terrible thing) ...
ah nevermind.

its easy, USA goverments have been the most dangerous thing
for this planet in the last 50 years at least

not saying that the thing with north korea isnt to worry
about, but you know... USA represents a higher danger after
all

I'm not surprised they want an A-bomb. What would you do if
the most powerful and most warmongering nation in the world
makes a list with your country on it, labelling it "Axis of
evil"?
Would you (a) Lay on your back like a bitch and prepare to
get leashed with a stars and stripes collar, or (b) go out
Eastwood style, gear up and prepare for war against
overwhelming odds?

This shows the U.S. government's little things-to-do agenda
used during meetings:

1.Iraq :Leashed and tied to numerous lucrative U.S.
contracts to "help" rebuild the country they destroyed while
keeping the money in U.S. companies' hands, plus a mighty
fine oil deal out of it all.

Status: Mission accomplished.

2.Iran: Scheduled for a 10 year span of crippling
sanctions inducing army's maximum attrition prior to running
over the afflicted army with a devastating invasion.

Status: On Hold, please proceed to next target.

3. North Korea: Ideal testbed for "First Strike" nuclear
tactics. Iraq is turning out over-budget due to recalcitrant
pockets of resistance, thus nuking N.Korea is the
cheap, quick and easy way of warfare. Plus, nobody's going to
really care about it since all the outside world ever
gets to see anyway is a few dated pictures of some crazed
N.Korean dictator or a video of a military parade filmed in
'97, xenophobia assured. The media is helpful in that way.
Also, in case of nukes, if the wind blows in the right
direction maybe a few million Chinese will catch various
forms of cancer and die, which will be viewed as a positive
side-effect, and it won't look as if the bomb(s) did it
because it will kill them slowly as the radiation creeps
into crops, water and livestock.
There will be criticism from around the world which will be
voiced through the U.N. but we'll just shrug that off as
usual and carry on with our business. U.N. resolutions don't
count for the most powerful nation in the world. We've got
the big guns, so we decide who gets to play and who's out.
