Me and some friends used Soul Calibur 3's "Create a
character" option to make "Ratzinger" and "Abu Bakar" and
had them settle it like men.

needless to say i am pissed off with him for his comments on
evolution, obviously he chooses this theory to talk about
over brownian gas motion, radiation theory or the countless
other scientific theories, and with no relevant
qualifications at all. i don't pass judgement on Brunel's
bridge-making capability, so why should he pass judgement on
modern biology? wanker.

he probably chooses it because it actually contradicts
something he believes in while the other theories don't.

doesnt the bible say god makes the weather? if not, then the
qur'an definately does. should he criticize the water cycle?

anyways, he is a toser for saying blatant anti-muslim stuff
like he did. he will probably get shot when he goes to
turkey

I don't know about that, but the water cycle wouldn't
necessarily contradict it.

anyway, yeah, he's a bit silly for saying what he said as he
is a highly prominent political leader and should
watch his tongue in public.

If he did get shot, the people doing the shooting would be
proving his point and he'd die both correct and a martyr*.

*in his and the church's eyes.

actually, I saw this movie about muhammed (quite nicely
executed in that they couldn't show muhammed in the movie,
so parts of the movie were from muhammeds eyes), and there
was a part in which someone stole something from all the
followers of muhammed (I think they were the main
merchant/bandits of the town) and all his followers were
begging him to let them go after them (as they now had no
food) and fight, but he was unwilling. after a day of
deliberating, however, he decided it'd be ok.. this was a
rather old movie, so I tend to assume it hasn't got all the
demonising effects of modern times, but it seemed to me,
even though I haven't read the koran (norwegian spelling,
can't be bothered finding the other one), that the
interpretations about violence in islam is extremist
interpretations like certain interpretations of the bible.
it should also be mentioned that islam isn't a missionary
religion, and the spread of islam most likely was a result
of muslim people being "imperialistic" (taking over other
countries) and then bringing the islamic faith with them.
for some reason, quite a few people in occupied territories
seem to have found islam quite appealing, and therefore
converted... or something.. it's been a while since I had
about this, so I've forgotten some of the details.

Hilariously though (to paraphrase) he said. "Cuh, aren't
Muslims violent people." to which their response was "How
dare you say that, we're gonna get you for that..."
