This is an old remix I did in a thread over at the SA Forums. I don't need any HELPFUL ADVICE ON EQUALIZING or HEY COMPRESS THOSE PADS MORE or some shit like that, it's not a new tune and I like it fine thankyouverymuch!
ARC - Sunan (EOD Remix)
FUN!!!!!!!!!

yeah - maybe boost the 60-100Hz range by 1.5dB and cut the high end a little too...try using a PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER OR SOMETHING

You need to create an RSS feed on your site so I don't have to keep an eye out for topics.

the only thing that isnt very audible in the mix is the pad yes, im on crappy speakers at the moment so I probably dont't know what im talking about but I would try skipping compression on the pad (at least for a start), just bring it up quite allot in level instead (or bring some other elements down) then EQ it and try to find it's special place in the mix, by the way it sounds here your on the right way with letting the pad have allot of high, but increase the level of it and do some EQ sweeping on the higher mid frequencys (use a parametric eq, set a very sharp Q value and boost 5-7db and sweep to find frequency peaks and such that might sound annoying or create frequency crashs with other instruments.) after that you could try some carefull compression but on pads and such I often find it to be nice to have it "airy" and not to focused, if you compress after EQ then you might need to add another EQ and make sure you have not compressed any unessesary noise or sub frequencys. Hope you sort it out and excuse my very general and unfocused comments, I blame this crappy 2.1 system :)
