Expert Knob Twiddlers?

for me, it's the Analogue Bubblebath's, Caustic Winow stuff,
etc.

Most of the Analogue Bubblebaths, sans the awesome AB3.

I actually heard powerpill (ep i think) for the first time
only a week ago. It is garbage pretty much.

rdj album (1st 6 tracks and a couple others), come to daddy
and windowlicker are genious, practically their own
untouchable genre to this day. The rest are average.

AB3 propably. A few good tracks, but generally too
repetitive and harsh. I'm not so enthusiastic about ICBYD
either, it just sounds like a random collection of 50% good
and 50% boring tracks.

I love Expert Knob Twiddlers

AB3track n.3 called .0180871r is one of the prefered afx
style.
but, like with david bowie or picasso is silly to me choose
the piece that I like less

Ive always thought come to daddy and windowlicker are
cheesy.. (the singles) I don't like them much.

Other than that I love most of his work. Druqks rarely gets
a listen though..

Windowlicker is so cheesy isn't it, it's so... predictable,
it's so... mainstream, it's so.. tired and the sound of a
man at the nadir of his powers, a shadow of his former self,
by no means is it one of the last greatest singles of
twisted pop genius, something that beat every "edgy" RnB
multi million dollar producer at their own game on a 50p
budget. No, it's cheesy. Says a fucking Australian. How is
the Breakore scene down there, you wankers?

Classics/Druqz/SAW2

Don't know why, just too much music to listen to and the
other albums got there first. So I guess I do know why...

offline uzim on 2006-09-17 16:36 [#01972811]

well, there are a few albums from him i simply don't have
(and haven't heard), so of course i know these ones least...
i only know one track from surfing on sine waves (though i
had been planning to get it), also just one from expert knob
twiddlers; i just have (or had) the compilation from caustic
window, and there's probably some other releases i'm
forgetting... i don't have chosen lords either (i have heard
three analord tracks)... well anyway if you want to see what
i have and what i don't (i don't know why you would care
about that, but who knows), here's my music list.

my least favourite from the ones i do have and know
might be melodies from mars (not sure though); (is it me or
has this thread drifted from "aphex lp you least
know" to "aphex lp you least like"?) and the
ones i do have but least know are the analogue bubblebath
series in general. (i had downloaded them all at once, but
it was when my interest for idm was already diminishing, and
in the end i never quite listened to them as carefully as
they probably deserved.)

if smojphace counts, i don't have it either but frankly,
from the samples i've heard, it's pretty terrible. : (

by the way, Ezkerraldean : you should get ...I Care
Because You Do
, i think it's one of the greatest albums
he've made (and very probably my favourite).

ABB3 I managed to get into quite well, at least, every time
I hear a track from it I recognise it. That's the one with
.215061 as the first track, yeah? Legendary. Why has that
track got a name and the rest don't, or am I missing
something?
