A funny game. I used to play it in "high school" (7th - 9th grade), and then again when I was in the army*. I had around 2000 cards before I sold them all 4-5 years ago. I played M:TG online for a while too, I think I still have my account there. 1 year of service is compulsory for males in Scändinäviä |

I got into this gmae later than most, played it from ages 16-18. It was fun for a while, but then I ran out of people to play it with as all my friends stopped playing. I still have my 4 main decks and a bunch of other cards though. |

i was on it until 8th edition. i didn't like the new layout and all those new abilities where more and more confusing the game. and i didn't had that much money to play type one or extended so i gave up :D |

I agree, the new layout is shit (too cartoony/bubbly), and it seems like they are really reaching for new ideas now. I do, however, like the samurai cards. I have a red/white samurai theme deck that, to this day, I've never won with, but it's just so much fun to use anyway. |

i played it hardcore between about 12-16. tournaments and all. i wailed at magic. i bet it would be so difficult to get into now, there are dozens and dozens of different abilities now and sooo many cards. |
