So as if music isnt going high enough on ebay.
Or atleast the good stuff.
Why is shipping so fucking expensive all the time...

Do people really need $3.50 to $4.50/cd ?
It costs like $1.50 at most for me to send you a cd.
From usa to usa.....America that is.

Well, yeah. But they have to take time to go somewhere and
mail it. If I am selling 20 different albums all bought by
different people with payments arriving at different times,
I would probly get pissed off at having to go to the post
office every day for free. And packaging isn't free.
Expecially the quality stuff.

Yeah if im paying too much for vinyl packaging on ebay ill
know just because of experience, typically there is a
certain range that is known to be accepted. 2xlp albums, to
4xlp box set giants like the Drukqs heavyweight set..
.shouldnt even cost that much with regular to kind of crappy
materials. With the best materials for the rare items it can
get more pricey. Usually I ask for the best shipping
possible for vinyl.

when i posted my analord, i sent it recorded delivery and
the postage cost me £9.60. i charged £10 on ebay for
postage and made a whopping 40pence profit of the postage :P
. but yeah posting a cd should be very cheap really. you can
put a cd in a letterbox, for a start. the british post
office is changing it now so post is priced by size and
shape as well as weight now, i dunno how good/shit that will
be.

you could call it gas money for going to the post office,
but realistically most people just want a bit of extra money
that nobody notices until theyve bid

Yup... its just an easy way to make a few extra dollars or
cents on top of your selling price. I Dont mind that as long
as its reasonable. I read up on what the shipping rates or
atleast get a feel for them, or hell just ask!.

Sometimes (usually for more obscure stuff, and not music,
but music as well sometimes) the item your looking at is a
great deal. 19.99 Us for something cool that you were sure
would be more but isnt.... but wait, you almost buy it and
you notice that shipping is 26.99 Us... !?!? Fuck off!
NEXT...

solution: no buying overpriced items. if people carry on
accepting this, there will be no stop and then it will
become a normal thing we wont even notice... boikot!
