VSnares - Hospitality according to planet-mu was supposed
to be released yesterday. I was hoping to find it on Bleep,
but no luck. Anyone know where there may be mp3s for
purchase on this EP?

Nah half the board can't stand him, half love him, he is
very divisive. I think he's brilliant.

I`m a big fan of vsnares. He seems less groundbreaking now,
but a few years back it was the only thing I would listen
too! His new albums are still really fresh and cool.

I think you just gotta have a good sense of rythme and a
love for noise/systhesis to really enjoy it. Most people
don`t like it because they can`t digest it musically. The
people that like his music yern for something that
interesting !

He deserves more credit, but less praise if that makes any
sense.

pigster likes snares. and we all know that.
september is too far away, but it gives us time to settle
down with cavalcade, which probaly means 2006 will only have
these 2 releases and maybe a 3rd...

offline nacmat on 2006-05-30 18:26 [#01910196]
Points: 31271 Status: Lurker | Followup to pigster: #01910189

just these two

and only 3 in 2005

seems like he is slowening his releasing speed

but cavalcade sounds like huge great album to me. this
coming after rossz tells us that this guy is in his best
moments

Nothing above what could have been expected. Funk still
pushes as many sounds as he can into every single second.
Booooring.

i don't find it hard to digest, i mean quite the opposite,
as you say it's basically the same idea repeated...not that
that is bad in itself. i just don't quite get why everyone
gets so excited at the next in a line of 40 albums. personal
opinion, i mean there's people out there that fervently cack
their whips at the prospect of a new merzbow album. music
conversations are brilliant aren't they?=]

[presses big red button]
