the difference with brass eye that there was a point to it.
it was making a mockery of sensationalist media. this is
just dumb. theres no point to it and it won't be good.

it's a false assumption that all new things must be
equivalent to (modififcations of) what already exists.

Hot damn, you've hit the nail on the head.

I can practically see the video in my head now...

Kick drum solo at the beginning; synched to plan hitting
into tower clip being played over and over again.

Snare rush; as it speeds up, progressively faster playing of
the video of the guy falling, then as it reaches a crescendo
and gets slower, play the clip in reverse.

Cymbal crash: plane bursting into flames

Sort of a tasteless version of Hexstatic's Bass Invaders
video.

its not going to be shocking, its not going to be ground
breaking, no one will hear it or care, its going to sound
crap, its purile, its disrespectful and theres not even a
point to it. most controversial art usually has a point or
purpose to it, even if that is sometimes just to shock or
provoke a reaction. seeing as the only people who will
listen to this are geeky idm fanboys on here, it won't even
achieve that. this is such a bad a idea.

That's it in a nutshell.

Don't wanna be patronising, but its fucking immature.

9/11 / 11/9? In my mind impossible. However, a nice tape
collage would be good.

i wouldn't be offended or amused by this sort of thing. i'm
saying only that it's a stupid idea, imo.

Well, when we're finished with this shit let's start an
Auschwitz vibes too.

Fucking great idea.

We can do songs with references to dead Jews as well.

Twats.

Not, I repeat NOT the dead Jews.

look at some 9/11 footage on youtube and then say if a vibes
is in good taste. it would be not unlike a princess diana
vibes.

it's hardly comparable though, is it?

one is a woman getting killed in a traffic accident, the
other about 3000 people getting killed by terrorist
attacks.

it's accident versus attack, I mean.

i guess its both. the link is more tenuous here in
australia, we recognize the queen as the figurehead of the
commonwealth, but as a country we are becoming increasingly
republican.

over 90 replies!
wasnt expecting this much crap over it. sorry to anyone if
it actually did offend you.
the 'explosion/screamingand other traumer related sounds'
were >optional<. it wasnt like we thought, Hey lets make a
vibes idea and make it all about 9/11 and terroism and
crap.
thought it would be funny requesting a vibes in a dumb
timing, such as 9/11. maybe thats enough for a vibes idea,
but decided to relate it to the 9/11 terrorist attack.
oh well. im still gonna try and make a 9/11 timing song one
day.

i just wanna ask :

America, what time is love ?

why us citizens tollerate that guy is beyond me

personally: i'd make a track for any other vibes - except
this one. 1. what vpusher said - there's too much been said
about 9/11. 2.families of the victims need some...peace and
quiet ? something like that.

Why not make vibes about all those xlt-heroes who have been
banned from xlt ? Tracks with samples of their voices or
their songs or their farting etc.
