From the Select interview "The younger of his two sisters
was into The Jesus and Mary Chain, and had boyfriends who
played in indie bands."

Does anyone know what band(s)? I can't find any mention of
this elsewhere.

Good thread. I'm an aphex stalker so I'll be interested to
find out how this turns out.

When I was in Lithuania, some Lithuanian geezer in a bar
told me his friend was married to Aphex Twin's sister or
something weird like that. I think he was talking shite
though to be honest - he seemed like a twat.

Norman - Yes

April Fools - No.

Aphex's sister, as in the sister of Aphex. This does not
preclude the existence of another sister or imply twin
sisters.

It was an elder brother ("Richard James", no 'D.' in the
middle)that died before he was born.

aphex is his own twin that is to say that during his
gestation period the womb split and then rejoined and the
number of chromosomes doubled and that is why cornish acid
is so fuckin good

yes, cygnus is correct. The embryo split, one part forming a
normal foetus, the other part gradually developing into an
unrecognisable orange mass. At about 6 weeks, the foetuses
merged, one becoming Richard, the other becoming his hair.

I knew you were lying because I asked Norman if anyone had
got it yet and they hadn't.

Twas The Family Cat. Who knew? Two lucky people apparently.

And whilst I'm here - "Aphex's sister" is correct use of the
apostrophe. I was only referring to one sister, otherwise it
would have been "Aphex's sisters". If you're (natch) still
not sure then check http://www.apostrophe.fsnet.co.uk/
