I agree it's a good name, but I think it really needs the
suffix, "...because you do."

you know what? this is great electronica. even if dan
wasn't my pal, i'd almost definitely buy this cd based on
these tracks. i'll buy it tomorrow for sure.

The only way you'll have a physical edition is if you buy my
laptop. Bear in mind two keys have been pulled off by a 2
year old.

did somebody else bring up that possiblity? just out of
curiosity, what makes you say that your friendship doesn't
influence your reaction to dan's music?

you're ridiculous. i was impressed by the music and that
was a comment about that. you misinterpreted it because
you're a sad twat who looks for things that aren't hidden in
people's comments, apparently.

I could never really get a handle on the plaidzebra
character until I pictured him as a grey haired, lesbian
aunt.

I love the way the SVC records site has:

Download 'relesase x' now in glorious 256kbps for £3.00
complete with full artwork.

Or alternatively

Buy at iTunes Music Store for £7.90

It manages to poke fun at the rather rip-off price (for
something with no physical media) of iTunes and offers the
product cheaper, yet also sort of says, "but we like the
credibility being on there lends us".

sheesh.

I don't know if the terms "CD quality" and "The Grinning
Ape" belong in a sentence together, you're lucky if it's
third generation copied bog-standard cassette quality.

Ha! What the sub-sub-sub Frippian but with a synth solo, or
has one of the tracks accidently been replaced with
"Heroes"?

in the "secret" track..?

Ohhhh, right, yeah I'm so greedy I wanted TWO finales (such
as they are), if it was on vinyl, right, then I'd have the
last track split into two grooves, I don't know if this is
strictly possible, so that, you know, it was pot luck if you
got either of the last tracks.

I'm trying to make it sound more interesting than it is.

I wouldn't say "Heroes", I'd stick with
sub-sub-sub-sub-Fripp but with a synth (or free VST in this
instance).

ha ha! it wasn't meant to sound like that?

I was sure you had done it on purpose, it sounds so
obviously like "heroes" to me! :)

I was thining it was like Robert Fripp or Michael Brook if
they'd got really drunk and fell over the distortion pedals.

I did, sorry, I am so rude and tardy and I didn't even get
round to saying "Awesome", "Thanks very much", "Love them
all, especially DnB and Pycho", "Stuck two in a very bad
mixtAPE" nor even "Outstanding work!" - because I'm awful
like that.
