It almost looks like a binder

so the lowlife scumbags who order their cd via warpmart get
the faggy cardboard digipack-version

I think I prefer the digi pack, yes. I wasn't keen on the CD
sleeve version of the binder,it looks.. it manages to look
even cheaper than the original, which is an astounding feat.

What is the poster like that you get from Warpmart? As I'm
ordering but I dont know If I should spend extra for it.

I was considering suggesting the lightbox image thing but
you've done it already. Either that or my computer is being
nice.

wow... i have plenty of tolerance for the bad cover art on
most of these electronica releases, but this retail
packaging is just ridiculous. that looks totally shit.
they didn't even try to do a good job with it. that's like
a joke. they should be embarrassed to sell something like
that.

but the shipping costs like 5€ more. so.. could someone
tell me?

is it made from that recyled cardboard/paper stuff that rips
really easily?

Points: 40066 Status: Lurker | Followup to earthleakage: #01866743

any thing recycled is good :)

digi-packs are nice, they get a little dinged on the edges,
but the cases dont scratch like a regular cd case, or
melt/fade in a glove compartment,--THEN it gets hard to read
the track names

IM A SCUMBAG, i want digi-pack, NO slidder

you're awfully against the FCUKING slidders. what has a
slidder ever done to you? ejaculated a cd at gruwsome speeds
against your nose? (try not to ejaculate cd when looking
inside)

have they done that before ?

usually promos have a hole punch in the barcode, or a
bandsaw cut on the side of the cd case, or the typical gold
lettering...."this is not inteneded for public sale, return
to record company" blah blah blah whatever paragraph

jaser>promos usually have the listed above, or just a
cd/backlay (black and white)

lots of times. ultravisitor 12", drukqs 2 track

although all might not be strictly promos, more like a
middle thing between retail and promo. they do not make a
habit of selling all their or other's promotional stuff, you
are right about that

on boomkat they talk about "ejector-cased slab of
plastic" which is the promo version not the retail version,
no? I would assume this is what they think they will be
shipping rather than the paper retail effort.

i have no idea what version warp records is selling (they've
stopped talking to me), but my info is based on rephlex-info
(which seems more solid, but a bit confusing). i hope i will
get the answers tonight/tomorrow.

fairly obviously,
promo = for promotion, not for sale = slip/trigger case =
1000 LTD
retail = for sale = digipack = 150,000 LTD
end of.
