I'm really looking forward to the release of the software.
GPL too so we can all play.

think of all the crazy visuals it can create, not only by
beatboxing. Spastic video clippy's will spawn

Woah! Am i right in thinking you can just take any sample,
break it down into component parts, and it'll "play along"
live with whatever input you give it, using the bits based
on their musical similarity? Because even without the video
element, that would be fucking intensely cool.

Video didn't corrupt at this end.

belb: That's exactly how I understand it. I like the video
side too. It's a lovely extra :D

Well I started off thinking that was wicked and by the end
was a bit dissapointed. A fine gimmick and gadget but I'm
sure it will be over used so much that people will hate it.
Buffer under-run fx anyone? lo-fi bit reduction? I'm sure a
few will use it well but it will be overused by the masses
and lose any appeal.

Still, a nice idea. With development it can be used for
decent things. I think this would be better for smooth
evolving textures and things rather than glitch-o-rama live
remix schenanigans.

Like a hyper wavestation or something.maybe

I was also thinking how wonderful it would be to create a
self looping system etc. You create the sounds earlier on
and then they're loaded in etc and as you go on you'll get
your sounds back all cut up etc but mixed in with what
you're creating now and so on.

That's just my fevered mind.

I think it has more depth than "cutups" but I think for the
purpose of demo it was a good way.

Adamski bit though,
