All these futuristic interfaces to make music. Things
popping out of thin air. It seems cool and all.

I don't know why we need to make better interfaces when
people still seem incapable of familiarizing themselves with
the ones we have already.

I guess the first thing you need to do before you reinvent
the wheel, is create the perception that its broken so you
can feel comfortable trying to fix it.

(I like knobs. You can feel them)

"(I like knobs. You can feel them)"

You set yourself up for a 'quoting out of context' there :P

more interfaces - less music.

i mean i now only a few live acts that actually are able to
make a good performance with the stuff that's already on the
market.

might be interesting for merzbow though...

huh ? i saw already half of the movie and i cannot really
find a connection between the things they do on the screen
and the music...

seems like bollocks for me

My nan could play Spoons really well. And my great uncle
could play the Saw, God rest their souls. Chris Clark doing
his banging cutlery etc. about isn't half as innovative as
people make out.
