angry dolphin is perhaps one of Plaid's most underestimated
tracks? Who can listen to this one w/o crying? Well, perhaps
you then....

I love Angry Dolphin, it's a funky jam... I don't cry at
funk though, I look it in the eye and say Yes sir, well done
sir

I always thought Yak was Angry Dolphin because of the
It's All Becoming Clear compilation, and to make
matters worse, a remix of what sounds like Android is also
called Angry Dolphin(Unreleased Mix) on the same
compilation

*sighs*

wasn't the name of the track that was mislabeled "angry
dolphin" on that compilation "anything"?

No idea, I compared my compilation with the titles on this
discog entry.

If it was up to me songs should be called Cool Song
#1,2,3...etc

dannn: that is correct..... a small error in the
discography.... i've just explored/compared with my 12" and
everything should be correct now. thanks for pointing it
out....

Have you changed the style of the first post in every
official music-discussion-topic btw? It seems clearer now..

Anyway I like android as well..

the xltronic sample for "yak" plays the track "anything" and
vice versa.

i agree that the standout track on the ep is "angry
dolphin," it's epic...

are you sure? i checked it quite thoroughly yesterday.....

i listened yesterday when i had a decent internet
connection, i pressed "yak" and i got "anything" and vice
versa.

i was just spinning "trainer" a few moments ago (i only have
mbuki mvuki as mp3, they could be mislabeled) and confirmed
that i've got the right tracks and the right titles.

let me see how long it will take to listen to a sample again
from this god-awfully slow connection...

i'm pretty sure that the 12" on clear is mislabeled. "angry
dolphin" is listed as "android," and "yak" is listed as
"anything." i just pulled the 12" to double check.

they appear with correct titles on "trainer."

so the original release is mislabeled and the compilation
(trainer) is correct? how do we know it's not the other way
around?

logic dictates that the error is probably in the 12".

see the track list of "mbuki mvuki." compare to the
tracklist of "trainer." "yak" and "anything" are in the
same position, i think.

the 12" is on clear records, which released a cd label comp
("it's all becoming clear") on which the first track is
listed as "angry dolphin," but is actually "anything"
(according to "mbuki mvuki" and "trainer") or "yak"
according to the 12". the same cd comp has an unreleased
mix of "angry dolphin," and it's a mix of the track that's
identified as "android" on the 12" but "angry dolphin" on
"trainer."

check the runout grooves of your 12". the side that says
"A" on the label says "a" in the runout groove. the side
that says "a" on the other label says "A" in the runout
groove.

i'm 99.9 percent certain that sides "a" and "A" on the clear
records 12" are switched.
