The show was such an excellent series...
Today I saw the dvd extras of the series. And I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. I was literally crying with laughter and thats NEVER happened before.
Anyone who can get hold of it - watch the section 'Taping Nigel'. Its Gervais basically using Nigel the series editor for his own amusement, dressing huim up etc... I can't emphasise how hilarious it is.

I still have not seen this show. I missed it when it was on TV. Fucking annoying. Don't have the Office DVDs either. That's another thing that's pissed me off.
Everything pisses me off. Fuck.

Its not as good as the office but there's pure gold in there - you would definately love it - get it to rent (or add an R to that...)

GET EVERYTHING!
Episode 5 with Samuel Jackson is the must-see episode, the fat bald guy is brilliant alongside Gervais.

The Les Dennis one's my favourite...
The genie scene has got to be my favourite gervais moment ever! Waaaaay funnier than the Brent dance scene, IMO.

the genie moment happens to be one of the only things Gervais has ever done which I don't find funny

Great series, lovely touches, very good acting from Gervais, his face just expresses such annoyance / desbelief / exasperation .. my fave bit is in the Samuel Jackson episode when he gets Maggie to take the "council test" on whether she's racist.
“Who would you want waiting for you when you got home: Johnny Depp or OJ Simpson?”

i got the dvd for xmas, and didnt get round till watching it till a few weeks back. i thought the first 2 episodes were a bit slow but it got better andbetter throughout the series, and tbh its fucking fantastic. the observations are great, such as his agent's exagguarted mouse clicks followed by blank expressions on the computer and little things like that, amongst everything else; its bloody brilliant. and yes taping nigel is just downright cruel, and very very funny.
