"special" about this song.

I like it, it's lush. But I'd like it even more with some
drums :)

it's a bit choppy at first (which i suppose is what you're
going for), but then the second half, i got into it more.
very nice track. i like it

thanks for checking guys!

Impakt: I was kind of trying not to do drums, as I always do
drums, and I find that lots of the variation is in the
drums.. also 7/8 drums are hard...

r40f: thanks! yeah, parts of it is supposed to be choppy,
but I don't know which choppiness you're referring to...

NICE!

i love the high pitch bells that come in a lil bit before
halfway point... and the chord changes are fresh.
Actually it's all fresh. NIce work

is it special because aliens made it?

thanks!

bells?

no, the "special" part was it being 7/8 instead of the
regular 4/4 or 8/8...

Took me about 20 seconds to get into the melody (not the
sound of it, but the time sig rather) felt a bit squished at
first. Now the flow is great. This is something I could
leave running on repeat for awhile. Good work on this!

thanks man!

yeah, that was a problem.. the first thing I recorded was
7/8, and I didn't really think about it, but then when I was
trying to make the second melody, something didn't fit.. I
just listened to it for a little while and then tried
counting, and I figured out it was 7/8s so I had to play the
second melody and actively count (as opposed to 4/4 or 8/8
which is a bit more intuitive).. also, the main instrument
has a kind of pli-pling thingie where, when I press a key,
there is first one sound sounding, and then another one
starts as the key is released... sometimes it sounds like
the measure starts at the "release" sound instead of the
first one, but it worked out in the end...

thanks!

haha, it could work, but it'd keep shifting the balance of
the track... I love the 3/4 - 4/4 combo, though...

this is nice and relaxing, though with that title I was
expecting something a bit more...'death' inducing

titles don't matter. they're mostly arbitrary anyway.

It does need drums though, something real fast/glitchy.

actually, those small clicks are percussion.. I put
them in there on purpose, but.. I don't know, I think it may
have gotten a bit "out of character" with harder drums...
