Finally.

I hate that bloated piece of shit software. I like the
simplicity of GTalk. Now I can use it for everything. I'm
happy.

I'm on Mac so Microsoft forced me to look elsewhere long
ago, the day I was free of Microsoftware was a glorious one.

I used Proteus for a while, it has a few awkward problems
like group chats not working properly at all.

Now I use Adium which also has some problems but is better I
think.

Still can't get a lot of the icons people use which is just
annoying, and people keep inviting me to play chess or
something and it doesnt work.

(for those who didnt get rid yet)

MSN now displays flash animated avatars wich can be
controled while conversation. the ones that they offer are
called meegos and suck hard.

does anyone has any hint on how can i create my own dynamic
MSN images?

i'm using Kopete under KDE at the moment

it's ok for Yahoo, and AIM. but for MSN it keeps showing
that the other person has "left the chat" and "joined the
chat" when they're idle. annoying as fuck.

and gtalk doesn't work when trying as a jabber account

also it won't let me send or receive files :(

it's a pain in the arse because the ability to send and
receive files, and chat flawlessly are my two main
requirements in an IM client....oh well

i tried but psi can't connect. I'm sure i'm following all
the instructions, so this is because of the providers proxy
(a fucking one). Nice try.
Anyway, got this g009|e talk installed and working at last.

msn, yahoo and most of the others are getting together to
make one that works with all anyway.

soon you won't have to worry about switching, but then
again, have you seen msn messenger (without the mods) ?..
there's fucking ads in every little bit of space they can
put it in, i was on the brink of going insane, but i found
this mod program where you can remove all the shitty ads and
the search button which gets accidently clicked a lot.

I use gaim sometimes, it's useful because you can add
plugins, so you can be extremly lazy but look like your a
little smarter by adding shortcuts. for example if i said
'ur' it'd come out you're.

not that it matters, god i'm such a fucking pathetic human.
don't worry, i shall bother you no more.

They're called chat clients so I just want to chat. If I
want to transfer a file then I'll use somewhere to upload
it.
