[mixtape] my really super mix

offline Dannn_ from United Kingdom on 2006-01-22 15:23 [#01824700]

I have finally completed a mix tape I've been fine tuning
for much too long. It was originally the set I did on new
years eve which people asked for me to record but I was too
drunk and I didn't. So I changed it in a few ways and
touched it up, and this is it. The two sides are quite
different, if you don't enjoy a spot of fat jungle beatz
then be wary of side B, and if you can't tolerate
electronica/break/acid fun, steer clear of side A.

DOWNLOAD SIDE A

DOWNLOAD SIDE B

If these links die I'll post more

Tracklisting (abridged):

Side A

Fatboy Slim - Song For Lindy
Luke Vibert - Feel Real Mad
Plaid - Jolly
Impakt - Kylie Minogue Acid
Skonflap - Me Teslove
AFX - Pwsteal.Ldpinch.D
Haywire - Let Me Be Your Fantasy (No Fantasy Phase)
Noise Attack - Total Recall
Future Sound Of London - We Have Explosive
Luke Vibert - Countdown
Plaid - Squance

Side B
Marq - Simon Before The Ease
Impakt - All There Is
Dillinja - Acid Trak
Fader - Good Old Days
Wagon Christ - King's Lyn
Exile - The Devil's Chimney

Halfbreed - Criminal
Natalie Imbruglia - Smoke (Ganja Kru Remix)
Impakt - Incessant Terror
Debaser - Crazy Baldheads
Bizzy B - Darkside

I want to download this but rapidshare seems to despise me
and won't give me the download links. It's been like this
for a while too.

Any chance of someone uploading it elsewhere once they've
got it?

please :)

it's pretty good all round actually - nothing that bothered
me, apart from that I wouldn't put Countdown and Squance to
finish off the mix, but that's just down to personal taste I
guess.

I'd pay to see you do this in a club, bar or toolshed.

Yeah I agree it's not a perfect ending, the logic was that
there was a good session of hard stuff directly after so
some rich melody seemed in order.

Nice one, very entertaining mix you've made Dannn_!

I was astounded to hear some Impakt tracks in there, which
fit in very nicely I must say. I prefer the first part over
the 2nd tbh.

It took you a while to create isn't it? I also heard that
you edited a few songs, right?

I even played it 2 times in a row so it's higly recommended
peeps.. :)

The easiest way to download from free upload sites like
rapidshare, megaupload and likes is using Universal Share Downloader (
28 sites supported). Then you dont even have to open the
link in browser window, just copy it to clipboard and this
program will automatically start download. Very handy and no
spyware.

Cheers, I expected most people would prefer the first part.
I wanted to record it for the most part in one 'live'
session so I planned it carefully. Some parts I rerecorded
and pasted them in afterwards, and I had to cut out a few
bars at the end to fit it onto the tape nicely and also
because Feel Real Mad developed some glitches. And there
was some extensive looping in places.

also Impakts tunes are the bangingest

hma - my browser won't read all the russian on that linky
