lovely news, love most of the tracks from that list. not a
big fan of fenix funk, it shouldn't be on there imo. should
be replaced with bwoondub!!!

hmm.... well, I suppose I´m getting this even though I
would prefer to have all tracks on CD... (and I wouldn't be
surpriced if that release appears one day too - rdj knows
how to sell stuff)

good picks, yeah thats 60% what i would have picked. also i
would have liked to have seen Laricheard and some more off
of Analord 08.

why not the whole lot on CD? its just another desperate
money grabbing effort. people will buy this, like it and
then go on to buy the proper Analords.

Sorry to shit on this but have we seen actual proof of this
yet?

It's not mentioned on the SRD website.

i refuse to believe the analord cd wont contain all 11 eps
(3 cds).
cos. give it some time, and all 11 are bound to be released
eventually.

Do you still believe the Analord 12"s was a "money grabbing
effort"? Releasing CDs is always more profitable than
releasing vinyl.

This looks plausible to me, when was the last time a
rumoured RDJ release turned out to be a hoax?

well anyway if i do i'd only play aphex all day long without
trying (oh certainly not) to scratch it, so the cd solution
is for me.

Come to think of it, that "press release" sounds very
pitchforked...

offline giginger from Milky Beans (United Kingdom) on 2006-01-21 11:06 [#01823818]
Points: 26326 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

Why is everyone accepting this as fact now?

We don't know either way still. I want proof.

offline Isopropophlex from United Kingdom on 2006-01-21 11:15 [#01823830]
Points: 41 Status: Lurker

I'm certainly not accepting this as fact, it sounds like
complete bollocks to me,seeing as there are glaring
omissions from a "greatest hits of Analord" that such a
compilation would be, if it was going to be released, which
IMHO, it's not.

The last press release from Rephlex I read was about the
Analord folders, and that was on the Rephlex website
(luckily, I bought one of those, oh how I wish I had bought
2). That one said that the Analord series was going to be
vinyl only, if I remember correctly (although my stoned head
probably means I don't remember correctly). It did, right?

Also, why not 2 or even 3 CD's?

Stupid if it is true, stupid if it's not true.

fuck that noise.
it's missing some key ingrediants.
I know when artists start their career they have some stuff
thats hard to get, mostly vinyl. but why is he pulling this
shit so far into his career. what of the 'cd' kind? what of
us?

This is bollocks. An Analord CD compilation without
anything from A1 and A2? You know... steppingfilter, where's
your girlfiend, phonatacid, bwoon dub.

i wouldn't know why two 300 point lurkers would bring this
news otherwise, it's not that we'll be shocked still by
fakes
also since it will be released in regular stores and the
press will write about this, rephlex cares shit about the
internet peeps so didn't worry about updating their site
me thinks

Ha ha. Last time I bring news to this place.
No links before because it was a brand new press release.
Now the release is starting to be posted on other sites as
peeps start work again after the weekend.

You heard it here first, but refused to believe it because
it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

It was more the fact that it was out of the blue from an
unknown member and no other mention of it could be found.
This is the internet. I take everything with a barrow full
of salt.

The tracklist was part of the press release, I just didn't
paste it again...
I got it through work, we get sent press releases.
Odd selection I agree, not quite what I would have chosen.

"or because it looked like another rdj joke/hhhyper
bullshot"
Everything he does, does...
