um...what is an "E" and where does it lie?

what is your grading system?

E is one mark above "F" (which is fail). That's the official
line. The real world POV that universities, employers etc.
take is that anything below a C isn't really worth having,
unless it's an exception. If as DeleriousWeasel says he gets
A in his other 2 subjects, is E will add 2 points, being
worth (I think) 10% as much as his 2 A grades combined,
which is worth having.

For the record I got an E in Physics AS Level, which is the
lowest possible A-level grade you can get without getting an
'F'.

it's basically what the teacher feels like.

unfortunately my teacher has come to know me as a cretin and
barely even reads my essays anymore. She just rubberstamps a
D on them and in doing so makes her job quicker and easier.
Sometimes I find my "friends" have written basically the
same thing as me but got more credit for it..

and revising from a folder full of 'D' and 'E' grade essays
is just so demoralising.

I'll have to ask my friends to explain to me what you mean.

Well, as you said earlier, you're getting an A in English
and Spanish, so a little C in history won't hurt too much.

well, if they do, post the explanation here, without any
vowels.

I think it's pretty lame that your friends won't tell you
what you ask, although it seems you may have brought it on
yourself since you've branded yourself as a cretin somehow

if youre trying to prove to your teacher that you arent a
fuckwit, cheating (and yes it is definetly cheating) on a
mock exam is pointless because youll fail the real one like
you deserve to and he/she will live happily ever after

come
the summer

Are you sure about the A in English?

More on topic.

Maybe all this "work" you've gone over the year and a half
isn't good enough? Have you considered that? Are you that
self deluded that you consider all work you do enough to
warrant an A? Surely bunking a lesson doesn't really help
you achieve a better grade in the subject.

Also, the amount of friends you have doesn't matter. What
matters is that you treat them as you would expect to be
treated.
You're letting your friends down by asking them to tell you
the questions. If you were that bothered you'd have found
out the questions by either turning up to the lesson OR
asking the teacher, having apologised for not turning up.

Don't come here expecting sympathy for what is your own
stupid fault.

The exam is done and I'm now guilty about putting my friends
in that position and will study more in future hopefully.
Thanks for your views.
