after the trouble i had with Apple, i wouldn't touch these with a bargepole especially since they will not be able to run PowerPC compiled binaries that require G4 code goodbye Digital Performer goodbye Peak 4 goodbye optimizations for Reason running under G4 /G5 chips goodbye Virtual PC (but then again you don't need it if you can dual boot....then again, it is handy running Windows under VMware in Linux) |

well i can certainly tell you that having a one month old PowerBook 17" G$ that literally gets hot enough to cook an egg on after only having been switched on for 15 mins (running from bettery power might i add) is definitely wrong |
