Prefuse 73

I just got his latest album last week or so and I must say,
there's not a single track I don't like. I've heard people
complain that his glitchy form of hip hop is annoying
because he cuts up the vocals too much, but I actually quite
like it and find it refreshing. I *do* like listening to the
actual wordplay by many mc's etc, but due to the fact I'm a
big afx fan, I find it equally, if not more important to how
the music actually *sounds* and the noises that are being
made. It seems to me that people sometimes forget that in
music. I mean, look at a lot of orbitals good tracks like
Halycon + on + on...the vocals mean nothing at all but just
sound right.

er....anyone agree?

I love the whole thing too. I sing along to Prefuse 73.
Although it's in a stuttered abrasive chokeing kinda way,
but I do sing along.

aint got n e

should really try and download some. I love cut up vocals ..
:) I in generally care more about the sonic properties of
vocals than the "meaning" behind it.

Vocal Studies and Uprock Narratives is sublime. First time
I heard it I felt like I had found something I had been
waiting for since the dawn of time. Perfection.

TOe tac tic by crunch is ALL about the "properties of vocals
rather than the meaning of them"
I like agony1 more than vocal studies but I like them both.
especially track 2$3 on vocalstudies.

studies and uprock narratives, ive been listening to it from
the WARP site A LOT, but you dont get the full length of the
