Okay.

Would you mind linking me to your ebay seller name, just to
dispel my doubts, then I'll leave it? No harm in that for
you.

What could I possibly do with your ebay name?

So... thought any more about whether you're interested in
electronic music at all?

We want to know about your life as a electronic music fan
living in Cumbria. How's the scene there.

It's plausible. Plausible as in "Yes, I think we can accept
this answer" plausible. I know I had moments in my lurking
times when I really wanted to speak up for somebody, but
lazyness always prevailed.

But you have all the right to be suspicious and I find it
harder and harder myself to believe ziggy. That piss poor
joke attempt he made doesn't make thing better at all.

It seems stupid that it would be but there's just so many
clues. But I can't say for certain yet. He seems to have
skipped off though, wonder if he'll be back.

This is the most bizzare XLT experience I've ever had.

This thread is weird. I was watching americans get fatter on
TV. It was sad. "Super Size me" or what have you. It was
alarming. I am quite aware that my diet needs to be fixed.
While you guys posted this all I learned about the Suicide
that is the american eating problem.

I knew we had one but i was never indepth about it. Good
film i should really do a search.

Clint: No problems with you venting here. I cannot moderate
this mans opinion though as that wouldnt be fair. I do find
it odd that a majority of the posts have to do with this....
but what did you all think of me when i joined... and with
all that panda stuff. LOL ... some people still think i am
a dupe. LOL n00bs

Good movie though

oh he'll be back with the most daring and dashing reply ever
made by some lurker who signed here just to piss someone off
and to make amok. I eat such fuckers for breakfast, lunch
AND dinner (and his mum too).

Hi son!

Oh no worries panda! Didn't want you to censor what he was
saying at all. I was just annoyed he wouldn't give me his
address because I thought you might close the thread, but
thanks for putting up with me. Just hope I didn't piss y'all
off too much.

I have been to McDs about 4 days this week, so don't get me
started. I am slowly becoming American.

What a load of bollocks, it was pretty much obvious from his
first post who he was, given the bumping of a day-old topic.
Then we see he spells neighbour "neighbor". And who the fuck
in England calls the queen "Queen Elizabeth"? And doesn't
the queen seem like a foreigner's idea of a UK reference
point anyway? Although I'm sure he'll now claim to be an
expatriate septic, the witless cunt.

Merry Chrissums, chums!

not that i can make much sense of this, but i don't think
the seller should pay for the item not arriving, that's what
the insurance is for, it's nice you would refund but others
shouldn't have to

offline clint from Silencio... (United Kingdom) on 2005-12-21 04:04 [#01804308]

Yea but he will get the insurance back though. I kinda
understand his POV but like Giginger said, you wouldn't
accept it from amazon, and this guy is not some small
eBayer, hes got a huge webstore. But anyways I'll see what
PayPal deem appropriate.

Peter - I was looking for spelling disprepancies but didn't
spot that one, so good work, Holmes!!!

offline big from lsg on 2005-12-21 05:24 [#01804340]
Points: 23729 Status: Lurker | Show recordbag

that insurance isn't certain yet though and aren't you the
one to receive that? you should make up your own mind and
not let paypal decide this for you. also this isn't amazon
but eBay and their rules are different

offline clint from Silencio... (United Kingdom) on 2005-12-21 05:53 [#01804345]
Points: 3447 Status: Lurker | Followup to big: #01804340

Well its not my fault if the insurance doens't come through
- why wouldn't it? Its to insure the seller, not the buyer.
I'm not the one who receives the insurance, he gets the
cheque.

I know its not amazon, but still the basic ethics of
customer values apply. I wouldn't expect to pay for anything
I didn't receive, period - its the seller's responsibility
to get me my goods, surely you believe the same. I would do
the same for anything I sent that didn't arrive, then persue
the insurance for myself. Plus read the stuff about him
making profit off the shipping - thats not fair at all, at
least if my item is stolen, he should refund the profit he
made off the shipping.

I have firm principles about this - I've made up my mind.
But PayPal will be able to deal with the legality of it all,
rather than the ethics. I don't see the harm in submitting a
claim - if either one of us is breaking the rules, they will
decide in the other's favour. I'm really not going up and
grabbing the money from his wallet.

Its what I'd expect from anyone, yo??

i thought the buyer could get insurance for the shipping and
then receive it, but appearantly it works differently
if you have problems with the seller making profit on the
shipping you shouldn't have bought from him in the first
place, it's extra sour now you didn't receive the item but
it doesn't really change it

Well I only found out he made profit when I read the sticker
saying $8.50, so I wasn't to know when I bought it.

But anyway, it will be resolved, one way or the other.
