Hi, my names marc, i'm from the Uk. I signed up because I'm selling some Aphex Twin 12" on ebay. I know this could be considered spam, so I wont post a URL until I'm told its ok to do so. The only reason I'm having to do this is because ebay.co.uk are a bunch-a-knobs, and they've monkeyed with ebay so only people in the UK can see my listings. I come mainly from a progressive rock scene, and I just discovered Aphex Twin and another bunch of electronic music artists, and I must say its been a really nice experience so far. YO everyone I found this online space while in the middle of a mindfuck trying to davinci code the hell out of the enigma that is the tuss. You all have some very good opinions on this and it has led me to believe this board is frequented by some of the smarter members of the general global music appreciation society. For 3 years i have been attending UCLA and my roommates have hosted parties and had an incredible time introducing some of the pucker-assed Los Angeles fuckheads to some of the better lesser known electronica from around the world. And some great music that IS well known but no one in LA would have heard of because of the bloated and decaying machine that is Hollywood propaganda. I saw Hot Chip a few days ago and although their studio recordings are a bit too poppy for my tastes they put on a killer live show, the crowd was DIGGING it and although they played a few of their catchy tunes most of the music was improvised and pretty fuckin heavy, a good time all around. Anyways wanted to say HI from california and let you all across the atlantic know i am with ya. laters. |
