Ha! Very good. "Tycho - My own Sound", I love the way
he denies ripping off BOC, he just likes them... the
extra garnish of shaved pubis on the shit cake of that story
was when he said he hadn't even actually bought any of their
records. Dear Tycho, there will always be a place in my
heart for you.

So presumably, if he hasn't bought any of their albums, he
just stole them?

Chihiro: True, but perhaps you could name one, two or even
as many as three?

Oh god, no, though I'm sure a "Tycho" search here or on "the
other place" would yield tragicomic results.

I was actually thinking about the issues involved in
releasing a huge single track release, sort of 1 hour long
ambient piece. What would happen if it charted? How would
radio 1 play it? Of course, if they didn't play it, it
probably wouldn't chart. But what if we had a John Peel
equivalent who would champion it and campaign for everyone
to buy 10 copies.

It could get loads of people into alternative music...
*strokes chin and contemplates*

Ambient Dub, got on Top of the Pops, Number 8 in the charts.
These were the 90s though, when things were better.

There is a green day song called jesus of suburbia, which is
about 9 mins long and was on TOTP a few weeks ago. It
sounded like 4 crap songs blended into 1. They made a big
thing about it being the longest song they have ever
played.

BTW I heard an advert for it on the way to work today on the
radio. apparently it is a 9minute prog rock epic.... nearly
made me crash....prog rock epic........NOT AT ALL!!!!
