A public apology

offline virginpusher from County Clare on 2005-11-06 21:36 [#01771747]
Points: 27325 Status: Lurker

I would like to apologise to Earthleakage and Monoid. I
have been informed that it appears that you have been banned
under my IP. I do leave my computer running 24/7. That said
i am unsure of these occurences.

I apologise for any inconviences that occured due to this
error.

It is not my wishes for either of you to be removed from
this message board.

Pete has been a great insight for music from the few times I
have been able to talk to him and Monoids presence keeps
this place fresh and new like no other account has been able
to offer.

I apologise to the both of you for this misunderstanding. I
regret the actions that are evidently reflected as mine at
this point in time and i would like to inform you that there
are no negitive feelings nor ill will intended towards you.

Brian

His account, in my personal opinion, is unique and doesnt
change due to any opinions. It doesnt fail under critisism.
It still makes people take it serious after all these years
and IMO earns an award. :)

People (imo) should know better but every now and again
someone gets suckered in

I love it

ok that was a bit harsh, im sad that they were both
unrightfully banned... but then again, monoid was pretty
trollish at times, and earthleakage has been rumored to have
multiple accounts, so......

And then there was the Crusade for Sidewalk Etiquette, a
proposal which would have banned short people from carrying
umbrellas and required fat people to walk single file and
wear neutral-coloured clothing.

Is it possible that Emiko was accidently deleted too?
Is there backup for victims of deletion?

How and why do all these people keep getting banned? And
unintentionally no less.. I'm not trying to be a prick,
this is genuine curiosity..

good job.

Which one was yours?

that out.

my job is to do this

should be obvious. :)

According to Gautama (563-483 B.C.), it is a mistake to say
that death ends our existence. But why does Gautama deny
that death causes our nonexistence? It is not because there
is an afterlife. Instead, his thought is that there is no
self and never was. The notion of a self is defective, so it
makes no sense to ask whether selves are annihilated, and
those who fear annihilation are confused. The no-self view,
in turn, Gautama rests on skepticism about the notion of
souls or substances, thought of as changeless substrata
underlying changing attributes.
