Just because i'm not very good with words, i can only say i fully agree with steve here. I'm no longer trying to be nice to alex because it's absolutely pointless. I remember him having various excuses for not going to these great idm festivals here in holland, and for not meeting crazone who lives in the same city. I'm starting to wonder if this guy has any social skills, other than 'online' ones, which he has, like steve put it, reserved for his little group of favourite members. His sarcasm and cynicism is plain unpleasant and even intimidating at times. Admittedly, at times also hillariously funny, but this doesn't make up for his unpredicable behaviour/moodswings. No it's not really this big a deal, but yeah he is a mod, and i too sometimes wonder, for fuck's sake, why? p.s: i am still buying alex's 1st book if he ever publishes one. I'm guessing it will be called: 'Xltronic, moderated' and consists of his first 30.000 posts. |

Apparently, there are more people who notice this, and are tired of trying to ignore it. consistent? yeah, in a way. a consistent bastard, that is sometimes also funny. but yeah, back to the thread title: i listened to the campfire headphase again today, and it wasn't as bad as i had remember it, but still not great. There are are handful of wonderful tracks on it, but they are still too predictable imo. Maybe this should have been en EP. |

again saying something bad about an album isnt wrong. I dont care whos sick of it. But i do tire of seeing Qrter bashed in this thread and i WILL NOT tolerate it anymore. You are bashing a man for having an opinion. That is all this comes down to. If you dont like Alex then thats fine and good. Everyone has people here they dont care for but we dont whine about it. This is getting people nowhere. In my honest opinion this is a case of fanboyism. I posted this out earlier in reference to nuc and archrival. Nuc was nice enough to chat earnestly about it but the blantent bashing really needs to end here folks. If you have problems with Qrter then feel free to drop him an email instead of airing your laundry out in the open. well brian i always admire and respect you for trying to stand in the middle of everything, but this time it's quite obvious that things have also changed for you since you became a mod. I am not bashing alex for having opinions but for being a plain asshole whenever he feels like it. I cant speak for others, but i meant when i said i sometimes feel intimidated by his posts, and i think it's bullshit that i just have to put up with it. It's cool that you and goran get along with alex just fine, but please don't deny that you are now sticking up for him, partly because you are also a mod. Look at what it more or less spirialed into. This thread was a TCH thread which turned into something else altogether. As i sat by and watched what transpired i felt it was unfair. The guy isnt even here to post anything and people are calling him out based on what? If hes been mean to someone and someone is actually affected by it then i would advise email. Dragging things out through threads isnt a good idea. I know you have been offended in the past and i am by no means targeting you with my post. But I would rather halt this process and ask that if people are earnestly concerned that emails take place instead of this public bashing. I think you are more personally concerned with this in an honest sense than some others (which doesnt apply to just people in this thread) Its one of those things.... people sometimes slag people and thats fine but i was foreseeing this getting out of control a bit and wildly off topic which normally isnt bad but i dont like to see regulars of any kind go through this. |
