If I had the money I'd buy it. I just started working again
and it would take about 5 weeks to save the money you're
asking.

I will most likely buy it if it has north american power
supply.

On a related note, why do all the cheap pieces of gear have
to be in england. Sucky english power rating. Makes things
hard. I wish more companies did the omni-voltage thing, like
Dave Smith Instruments and Behringer.

taxidermist... you can get a ewr supply transformer
porobably for about fifty bucks. uk-usa or whatever.

Really? I thought there wasn't a way to make one of those...
I have looked into finding one forever, but nothing ever
comes up... do you have a link? Because I am extremely
interested in gaining access to all that cheap gear.

Altho ebay has price protection, I prefer it when a
community gives its members a chance at the gear before
selling it to anybody. :)

I would buy it if I had the money to spare... but saving
up.

I will add this to favorites and bump to help assist you
tho. Have you tried ebay with a £200 BIN?

Maybe this might be a better forum for you. Ther
is a for sale section.

I have a Novation KS5 (which is a very similar device) and I
can confirm that Novation make very intuative and good
sounding synths. Only the Nord Lead3 matches the interface
of the KS synths, imo (but I am not expert; that's just what
I've gathered from trying out various VA synths.)

I own a Nova, which resembles the KS rack somewhat.

When you compare it to a nord, I think it kicks the nord's
ass pricewise and featurewise.

A nord doesnt have internal effects at all, and the novation
has it per part. This means you've got 4 synths with several
effects for each of the synth. This is a big PLUS.

I think the nord sounds too clean -allmost sterile- compared
to a novation. Exception to this is the G2, because you have
a saturation module in it to warm it up.

I've owned quite a lot of different synths and my nova is
here to stay.

Furthermore, the KS rack has a 16 band vocoder built in, for
those nice robot voices, an arpeggiator, and the filters
have an overdrive control.

All in all, when you use it as a 4 parts synth the only
thing you need to add is a sampler for drums and a small
mixer.

This is a bad site to sell things on, and most people here
use software. Seriously, dude, just put an add in em411 or
ebay.

You know, I know you may need money right now, but if you
know that you are going to miss something before you sell
it, all it usually does is give you something to regret.

I'd love to buy it but I just can't afford it.

Hanal was discussing about getting a synth. I'll show him
your link :)
