I like it. OD has great note choices - he's one of the only "idm" guys who understands how to use accidentals. His could be like Danny Elfman meets Squarepusher. Unfortunately he uses the builtin instruments in FL studio so the sound quality is cheezy. |

well, for those that are interested, Orange Dust is actually working on an album to be pressed to cd, (with a slim chance of vinyl) on Earstroke Records. while i'm on the topic, Wisp is also working on a full length for Earstroke. by the way Orange Dusts latest EP is available here in mp3 format - oh, and the cheesy aspect of od's music is what makes it so charming, i think. it's just fun and completely free of inhibitions. it speaks a lot about his personality. the dude is just great. the new stuff he's working on is insane, and it's a bit back toward his signature hip hop feel. |

I'm listening to the OD track Witches Hat and I can almost hear what that old villain metalface doom would rhyme over it. What do OD haters think of dangerdoom? This is cartoonish and fun in the same way. I think MF would throw a loaf if he heard it and send his minions out to bring OD to his lair. Ah, the track silencio is also MF bait. Perhaps I should amend that to "use accidentals effectively". Most IDM guys either stick to the white keys or do stuff so chromatic that it's random nonsense. |

his skill is near unmatched with the automation however i find his melodies uninspired and his sounds incredibly cheesy he is a really nice guy though so no offence if you read this OD! |
