Greetings Xltroniceers I haven't been posting the last many months, and it's simply because I've been busy. Real busy. I've bought a Roland SP-404 sampler and have used much time to learn how to use it. The vinyls-sim. is fantastic, and it has some other great effects. Besides that I have been using a lot of time in a new record-store in my city. It's called Good Times Music and has vinyls and cd's that I've only dreamed about buying. On the first day of the shop opening i bought 'Girl/Boy EP', 'Come To Daddy' and 'Richard D. James Album' on vinyl, and 'Music has the right..' on the re-release American wannabe-version. The vinyl thing was quite new for me and since i didn't have a record-player i had to borrow one of my girlfriend. Ah yes, my sweet, sweet girlfriend has also been taking a lot of my time... So besides what i just mentioned, there haven't been much time chatting, topic'ing, posting and sharing on the ol' xltronic, but your all in my heard as a community that learned me a lot of things about music. ...Oh and did I mention that I'm signing up for a Bachelor-degree in Electronic music (yes, you can do that in Denmark). I'm just hoping to get in. The answer will be in my mail-box in January. Well...cheers all (who do remember who I am) |

I remember you because of your brilliant avatar. IT was the first real horror movie I ever saw and it scared me shitless for a long long while afterwards. Even watching Muppet Treasure Island gave me the willies after that because the actor who plays Long John Silver was the same person who played Pennywise the Clown and had that unanny leer.. Nice to see you back :) |

Well, although I actually was almost signed two places, I simply don't think that getting signed is the way for me. I'm going for a total independent release on my own money, and I'll wait till I'm ready for it. I'm hoping for that Bachelor so that I'll have 3 whole years of only doing electronic music, and afterwards have a new sight on things like analogue equipment. |
