ok, i'm sorry.

tch is still grooowing on me, but so far i've been enjoying
it very much. favourite tracks : oscar and chromackey
raincoat. favourite instrument : guitar.

not a masterpiece, but just a good record.

i am thinking that there is far too much thinking going on
here

that's what i think many people think about tch. those who
don't think about it or think it's a bad record - will post
in this thread in a moment, just wait a moment.

I think it's a bad record and I think I already posted.

didn't I? I think I did. did I? I think so.

offline obara from Utrecht on 2005-10-21 13:08 [#01756859]

that's what i thought, after a moment - or two moments -
someone thinking it is a good thread to post a thought said
what he thinks. and it was virginpusher. and thus we all
know what he thinks about this thread and tch. or we think
we know what he thinks about tt and tch.

It sounds influenced by Mogwai, My Blood Valentine, and
Tortoise.
"A Moment of Clarity" is pure Loveless lovelyness.

at the begining i thought it was boring cause it lacked of
structure... but after a few listening (and, the most
important, after thc) i dont fucking care about structure
and i love the places where every track bring me...

that's what i thought : after a moment - or two moments -
you, qrter, the moderator, came to this thread thinking it
is a good thread to post a thought. and it was a thought
that would make many people think about many things. and
thus we all
know what you think about this thread and tch. or we think

My Bloody Valentine's "loveliness" is a lovely record. and
so is "isn't anything" - which is my personal "the loveliest
My Bloody Valentine's record".

and it's an interesting comparison....however i can't really
relate MBV's music to TCH. which MBV/TCH tracks do you have
in mind ?

"A moment of clarity" sounds like one of the little outros
on Loveless. Not one track in particular, just the general
sound of the record.

don't be too ashamed; this is only something like the
eightieth "hey people, here are my extremely interesting
two cents about that 'campfire headphase' album, yeah i'm so
special and unique and awesome that i needed to make my own
thread about it, even if there have been eighty threads
about it already and i don't really have anything
interesting to say about it; don't we all love to flood the
board with useless duplicate boards of canada threads?"

topic.

(nothing personal.)

Why don't you just call his mum a slag and be done with it,
nothing personal my arse.

Two nights ago I thought these actual words in my brain...

"This is almost as good as Selected Ambient Works
85-92
"

.. then I thought about taking out the rubbish.

no, i really don't have anything against him in particular.

just against posting hundreds of almost identical and
utterly useless campfire headphase (or analord or untilted
or whatever) threads. that behaviour is just really fucking
annoying.

I'd rather 1000 BOC / Analord threads than "Hey, Random

I said it before I'll say it again...TCH is classic BoC.
All of BoC's albums have had distinct seasonal feelings
attached to them.

MHTRC was the autumnal album with the warm nostagic
fellings.

Geogaddi was a hot dusty summers evening.

TCH is a spring album with a new fresh crispness about it.

This album blows, the beats are generic shit, the melodies
are simplistic and repetative, and the guitars are ...
pretty nice actually. I'm gonna listen to some
MHTRTCABPOITCGAFOTTHS instead!
